" So you mean to say that you aren't my real parents? My friends aren't actually my friends? Layla isn't my sister? And pretty much my whole life is fake?"
" Yes" Elizabeth's parents say at the same time.
" HOW COULD YOU KEEP SUCH A BIG SECRET FROM ME FOR 16 YEARS?" Elizabeth says shouting as her face turning red.
"'We just forgot until we got a reminder that we had to legally tell you on your sixteenth birthday."
" Ok first of all. WHAT A WAY TO RUIN MY 16 BIRTHDAY!! And second of all. YOU FORGOT THAT MY WHOLE LIFE ISN'T REAL!!!! WHAT KIND OF PARENTS ARE YOU????"
"We were just trying to protect you." Elizabeth's parents say in a calm and quiet voice.
stomps off slams her bedroom door behind her and scream from the top of her lungs.
Elizabeth texts her friend Olivia asking if she can stay I she night at her house. Half an hour later Elizabeth comes downstairs, she is finally calm and asks her parents if she can go to Olivia's house for a night or two.
" Not after that tantrum. Your not going anywhere you can stay here do the dishes and the rest of your chores." Her mum says still in a calmly mattered voice.------------------
