The little girl was starting to be happier each day. She was spending her time at the attic. She told the boy the her stories while the boy made up some fairy tale stories for her. The girl was so happy to finally meet her first friend and she didn't want to lose him. Then the boy said, what will be your first wish?
I don't know? Let me think OK. The girl replied.
OK. I'll give you time to think.
Aha! I know I want to be cured from the illness! The girl exclaimed.
OK. As you wish. Then the boy waved his magic wand and FUUSSSHHH. The pain in my legs, neck and ears are gone. It's like a miracle. The girl was so happy she hugged the mirror and the boy was happy too, to see the girl being so happy.
Some days after the girl wished to live in a palace, to stop the war and to become a princess, and all those wishes were granted.
Then she brought the mirror to the palace and began to talk to the boy again. Hey, are you in there?
Yes, I am here, princess. The boy replied.
Thank you. The girl said.
You're welcome, princess. The boy replied.
Are you happy now? The boy asked.
Yes, I am. Indeed I really am. The girl said.
OK. The boy said.
Princess, I need to tell you something.
What? The girl asked?
I need to leave. The boy said.
I have to go because if I don't leave your wishes will disappear and also aren't you already happy with your life? The boy continued.
Then the girl started to cry.
Please don't leave me! The girl whispered.
I don't want to be alone again!
I don't care if I'm so selfish! But I don't want to lose my only friend!
Said the girl sobbing.
I will never forget you. But my time is up.
I'll never forget your smile, your crying face and your laugh, don't forget that.
And never forget I'll always be by you're side.
The boy said.
Then the girl said, can I have one more wish?
Yes. But hurry. The boy replied.
Come back to see me soon!!! The girl screamed.
Yes. You're wish is granted. The boy said.
Goodbye.
Then the mirror broke into thousands of pieces.
The girl still couldn't believe he was really gone.
So she continued to cry even though she knows that tears won't bring him back. But she continued to wait faithfully for his return.
