Prologue

He's kindhearted, nice, helpful, and sweet. He was living alone and his parents were divorced a long time ago before his mother died in an accident and father disappeared to find out his death a few months later. He never accepted the fact that he has no family, and he used to go to his mother's house and talk to her, even hearing her respond and seeing her.. The sad fact was that he thought she was still alive and never accepted the truth and that she was already gone, he had no friends although he was so nice to people and never left a bad impression to people he met.

He finished school and even saw his mom there in the graduation party although it was months after her death.

He meets lots of people but they don't last with him, not for a main reason but they just leave, and he wasn't hurt cause they were just passing in his life and he knew it, he thought that he didn't need them cause he had his mother.

This was Tom. Thomas Rodger The 21 years old guy who loved his life despite the many shocks he had in it and the lies he was living, despite his loneliness and fear but he was still giving life his best although it never gave him anything but hard times.

Tom never expected what life was hiding for him of more shocks.
Never thought that the only fact in his life could turn to a lie. He was just living in his own world peacefully but unfortunately life hits him with reality and he will be stuck between his own sweet world and the real cruel one, what would he do? Get out to the dark, real world? Or just keep himself imprisoned in his big lie? How would he face it and would he even bear it?

- What? - Isn't just a title for the story, it's a question Tom's been asking for too long and begging for an answer.
