"Mom, I just finished packing!" I yell to downstairs. I grab my bag, and go into my little sister's room, Brooke and tell her to hurry up. It'll be a long drive. We're going to Oklahoma to a dude ranch for Spring break. I have no idea why we are going there. The only thing close to being "Cowboys" was Brooke's kindergarten grade like 3 years ago. I just wished we had just gone somewhere else.
"I can't find my cowboy boots Sam! I can't go!" I went into her closet and found the boots.
"Are these them?" I asked.
"Oops" Brooke giggled. I loved her laugh, she was a mini me. We had long blonde hair, big blue eyes, peach skin and we're pretty tall for our age. Brooke was the one who came up with the idea to go to the dude ranch. I headed downstairs in the living room to see my mom, dad, and older sister, Ari finishing up packing. Ari was beautiful. She had long red hair, tan skin, and dark brown eyes.
"Y'all ready to go?" I asked them while taking a seat on the couch.
"Yep, let's go." My dad said. We headed to the car and called Brooke to come downstairs. We all got into the white suburban, and headed out. My mom said it was going to be a 6 hour drive. We were coming all the way from Houston, Tx, so it would be awhile. I fell asleep, so i can't say much about the car ride there.
We got to the dude ranch and I knew we shouldn't have gone here. It smelled like cow crap, and the sky was different shades of purple. I only noticed that because Ari pointed it out. She was so beautiful she even noticed other beautiful things. I think that was why I was so jealous of her, but I hadn't told anyone that. Heck, that would make me sound like a selfish brat. I don't know. I just had a funny feeling about this place.
We got our stuff and some guy walked towards us. He had cowboy boots, hat, and a mustache that looked like a typical Paris freak.
He said "Howdy y'all, I'm Cowboy Bill."
'Cowboy?' I thought. This is going to be a very, long, trip.
