Waking up refreshed from last night. I hoped up from the bed and went straight to the shower.

As soon as I was about to step in my phone started ringing.
"DAMN." 
I said to myself.

Walking back into the room I picked up my phone off the bed it read an unfamiliar number. I answered anyways.

"Hello." 
I said into the phone.

"Hey."
The voice said in a shrill tone.

"Who is this."
I reply in a low voice.

"You don't know who this is? wow."
I could hear the hurt in his voice. 

"No not really don't know who you are."

I replied in a Fruity voice.

"Well this is a Shawn."

My whole body started to shiver at just the sound of his name.
"Shawn Owens."
I replied into the phone.

"Yes it's me Chanel, you sound shocked."
He said in a grating tone.

"Yeah I kind of am shocked. I haven't heard from you in awhile."

I said looking down at my body.

"Yeah I know, but I'm going to be in town for a couple of days. I was wondering could I stay at your crib for the days I'm in town."

Just hearing those words made my heart beat faster and faster.

"You want to stay at my crib Shawn? have you forgotten the last time I let you stay with me."

I said while pacing back and forth around my bedroom.

"Chanel, I promise I want let any of that happen this time.
I could hear the deceit in his words.

"I'm going to have to get back with you on that."

I said in a serious voice.

"Ok, but Chanel can you let me by tonight or tomorrow."

He said back into the phone.

"Shawn I don't know why you just can't stay in a hotel.there are plenty of them here in New York."
I said trying to convenience him to check into one.

"Why would I want to do that when I have a friend who has three empty rooms."
He said in a snappy voice.

"Well I have to let you go because you interrupted me from my shower."
I said looking back into the bathroom.

"Just let me know if I can stay at your place by tonight or tomorrow."

"Ok I will."
I said pressing the end button on the phone.

Walking back to the bathroom to finish my shower, all I could think about is Shawn and me last time he was down here crashing at my crib. Some wild things went down,that I have grown to regret. I tried to get Shawn out of my head so I can get done showering.

Fifteen minutes later, I emerged from the shower I head over to my closet to pick out a outfit for work. Looking through my clothes I finally decided on my black dress that hugged my hips to show off my hourglass frame. With my red bottom high heels to compliment the dress.
