NOLANS POINT OF VIEW THAT EVENING
"DAD!" I yelled. "Leave her alone!" I begged. My dad hit my mom across the face. "Please Jason!' she yelled in tears. I tackled my dad to the floor. He swung his fist at me. I dodged it and hit him. "Knock it off you little punk!' He shouted at me. "Stay away from my mom!" I screamed and pushed him into the wall. He ran through our little apartment into the kitchen. I turned to my mom. "Call the police." I said. She nodded as tears rolled down her face. I ran to kitchen, there my dad had a steak knife in his hand. "Stay back." he said. "If you call the cops I'll stab you." he said boldly. Then we heard the sirens. He looked at me then ran up to me and drove the knife into my abdomen. "AHhh!" I yelled and fell to my knees. Jason ran out of our apartment. My mom ran into the kitchen with a parmedic. Then everything went dark.
SHAYLEE'S POINT OF VIEW
I stood in the park for what seemed like hours and Nolan didn't show. So I walked downtown past run down apartments and stores. I was about to turn back then I saw a familiar face by a police car. Nolans mom. She was crying. My heart jump started and I ran to her. "Oh my God Mrs. Tomas what happened?" I asked. "My husband attacked me and my son." she sobbed. "Are you alright? Is Nolan alright?" I said nervously. "I'm fine just bruises. But Nolan was stabbed." she sobbed louder. "is he going to be okay?!" I pleaded. She cried. Just then I saw him. His wound was wrapped and he was lying there half conscious. I ran to him. "Oh God, Nolan!" I shrieked as a tear ran out of my eye and below my sunglasses. "Shay." He said with a feint smile. "Nolan..." I smiled. Tears trickled out of black eyes. He was loaded in the ambulance and I ran to get my car to follow him.
When Igot to the hospital I talked with him a while then the doctor said he would be fine and out of the hospital in the morning and sent me home. I was so happy and relieved. After I visited him a while I drove home and thought about him. I knew something for sure. I have to tell him my secret.
