(Carl and Enid at Carl's house playing video games and talking about there big camping trip tomorrow)

Carl's pov.
Me and Enid are talking about the camping trip tomorrow I just remembered I forgot to pack and I know I won't finish packing on my own when I have an idea I asked Enid if she could help me pack for the camping trip I give Enid the puppy dog eyes hopping she will say yes .

Enid pov.

As me and Carl are talking he asked me if I can help him pack for the camping trip when I looked up to answer his question he gave me the puppy dog eyes I laughed a little and said yes. me and him were packing when I asked him were he got his hat he looked at me and gave a small smile

Carl's pov .
When Enid asked me where I got my hat I looked at her and smiled a little knowing she would love this story Ok so me my mom and dad were all camping for the weekend and I saw a deer in the woods I went to go touch it when

* FLASH BACK *
(Rick has his arm around Lori knowing this is a beautiful family memory when he looks at Lori and Lori is looking straight back at him and they both look at there son with joy as Carl is about to touch the deer BAM everything changes Rick and Lori go straight to the hospital knowing that there son has been shot. While spending the day in the hospital Rick talks to Carl telling him that he is brave he then gives him his hat as a sign of bravery that he can keep forever.

Enid pov

When Carl told Me he got shot are friendship escalated that day me and him ended up talking about all are best child hood moments and we grew closer together and I know what your thinking you guys are best friends you should know everything about each other Well that's not always the case . before this me and him just talked about what are favorite color is but know we're going deeper into are friendship and I got to admit I love it.

Carl's pov.
Ok so right when I told Enid about my hat story it was weird not like a bad weird like a relief ha I don't know me and Enid started talking about all are best child hood memorys and I figured if we're sharing stuff personal I should tell her what I've been wanting to tell her for a while now I grab Enids hands and look at her with serious face "Enid I have something to tell you something"

Enid pov .

As me and Carl are were sharing child hood story's I released Carl was thinking about something.right when I was about to ask him if he was okay he grabbed my hands and looked straight Into my soul I could tell he was serious when he said Enid I have to tell you something I instally turn bright red and felt butterflies Ok ok I like Carl but I could never tell him that especially now that we're so close I don't want to ruin that special friendship.

Carl pov.
As I look in to Enids eyes and take a deep breath I tell her what I've been wanting to tell her for a while now what's been bugging me for a long time "ok so my mom and dad have been arguing for a long time now and it's getting worse every day I know what your thinking who cares parents argue all the time it's just normal but I don't know I guess I just wanted to tell you because I wanted advice

Enid pov
When Carl said what he hade been wanting to tell me for while now and it was about his parents I felt sad because I thought he was going to say he had feelings for me or something but I knew I Hade to put my feelings a side and be there for him I told him it will be Ok and I would be there for him.

Carl pov .
When Enid said that I felt joy and was glad she was there for me
"Thanks Enid your a really good friend "

Enid pov.
When Carl said friend I don't know what I felt it was weird I guess at that moment I realized we would never been any thing but friends I whispers something hoping he wouldn't hear but yet hoping he would at the same Time "yeah friend perfect"

Carl pov.

As I told Enid my story and ended it with thanks Enid your a really good friend I heard her whisper something but not quite clearly I then asked Enid what was that

Enid pov .

When Carl said what was that I instally knew he was talking about the whispers I responded by saying what was what I then started to talk about the camping trip and how I hade to leave and get some rest for tomorrow I told Carl bye and that I'll see him tomorrow as I walked as fast as I can out of the house I thought to my self that was a close one .
