Chapter 12: New

Chapter 12: Not the Only One

"I-" I spoke the honest truth. "Yes, yes I do. I just don't know when... it's so complicated." Why did he even ask me these questions if he could just read my mind...?

"Are you sure, because you don't have to lie," I swear, man.

"I'm not lying." I replied. "I'm speakin' totally honest. If you don't believe me, then-" I paused in the middle of the phrase as I realized that he was leaning in closer to me. I was pretty much speechless.

He was just inches away from me, literally. I was caught in the deepness of his grassy-green eyes. Why would I do this? Would I kiss him? Was he trying to kiss me?

Just seconds after, out of no where, someone just burst into the room, well almost everyone. And they saw us... they saw us in the position of being inches away from each other. Oh no. Harry seemed to notice, too, because we instantly backed away from each other. These people... immortals... happened to like interrupting. 

"Were you guys... kissing?" Paige said. She had her jaw dropped, just like all the others, Riana, Niall, Louis, and Zayn.

"Uh..." I didn't answer.

"No," Harry sighed.

"Aha," Louis said, nodding. "Are you sure about that?"

"Yes." I said to him.

"Besides that then... well, we came here because we wanted to tell you how it went between Camille and Liam. We were going to get Harry after- but clearly we didn't have to." Niall said, laughing.

"Well.. guess not." I replied, chuckling to myself.

"Anyway," Zayn added, "About Liam and Camille... apparently it went great. Don't know what they did... but they confessed that it went well. So ya' don't need to worry about that." Phew.

"Ok, well that's good. At least we don't have to worry." I replied. If things would have gone bad with Camille and Liam.... I'd make a run for it. And that, because of what happened earlier.

"So," Paige said, "How was... whatever you were doing?" Uh, we didn't exactly do anything...

"We didn't really do anything." I said in reply.

"We almost did," Harry answered. Now he was laughing.

"Did not!" I yelled back at him, giving him the evil eyes. He just grinned at me. No no no.

"Well, either we can tell you something else or you can gladly go back to whatever you were doing." Louis said.

"For the last time, we didn't do anything! And ok, gosh." I pointed out. "Just tell us."

"Alright, alright. Well, it's kinda' late, but we wanted to go to the park. It's good for us to go outside later when there's no one out there. Watcha' say?" Park? Ok.

"Um, sure." I said. I asked Harry if he wanted to go, and he did. Ok then.

The park was actually down the street, so we all walked there. We had to be quiet. I mean, it was 9:45 p.m. The park was quite cool. It had a small lake and a forest around the area. There were signes that said "Don't feed the ducks", but I would think the'd be asleep.

"This is a nice park... but what are we going to do?" I asked.

" A game!" Oh c'mon Niall, not another game!

"HIDE AND SEEK!" Louis shouted. Now the five year old was coming out of him. 

"Okay," Niall said, "I'll make the teams. Harry and Brianna, you're together. Louis  and Riana, you're together. Paige, you're with me. And Zayn, sorry mate, but you're on your own!" I was kind of delighted by the fact that Niall put Harry and I together. But yet, I wondered, why Niall put himself together with Paige. I don't know... suspicious.
