Victoria
Today my sisters and I decided to have a girls day, much needed with all the tension between Madison and I lately. Miranda set the whole thing up and thought it'd be good for us to get out together. Shopping, a nice lunch, and a trip to the nail salon? I wasn't passing on that, no matter how upset I was with Madison.
"So how was your date with Odell?" Mimi asks smirking at me. "I wanna know all about it." She seemed so excited.
"It's was great. Odell was great company. He was a complete gentleman." I said.
"Gentleman? Odell?" Mimi and Maddie looked at each other as if they were both shocked at what I said.
"Really?" Maddie asked sarcastically.
"Yes really ." I frowned. "And what's so funny?" I raised a brow, my voice laced with attitude.
"It's just surprising that's all V. Sometimes he could be the complete opposite. An asshole." Mimi said and stuck her head back in her magazine.
"He's not so bad. I mean he's very sweet and he is definitely handsome."
"Well I'm glad that you enjoyed your time together. Don't fall in the trap nah." Mimi jokes.
"Whatever." I rolled my eyes playfully. "Odell may be nice and all but I'm just feeling him out right now. Maybe with time and some hard work, just maybe we'll go there."
Odell definitely seemed like a chick magnet, which made me wonder why he came after me of all people? He was good looking, had his own everything, obviously he had money. And I knew women were coming at him left and right.
I wasn't complaining though. I was actually looking forward to meeting up with him again if I was being honest. We had been texting non stop since he dropped me off after our first date.
Maddie scoffs. "Well if you can hold onto it that long." She sat back into her chair.
"Unlike you, I can and have done that. So thank you." I shot back and began typing away on my phone.
"Don't even start." Mimi says. "Maddie come on."
"She's being weird and is obviously obsessive when it comes to me and who I date and should sleep with." I started. "Clearly she can't keep herself out of my business."
"Oh my gosh! What business?" Maddie asked clearly annoyed. "You have none."
"That's my cue. I'm over it." I got up and slipped on my shoes before walking off.
"Victoria!" Mimi called but I ignored her.
-Thirty Minutes Later-
"Well that's the last time I'm ever taking y'all anywhere with me." Mimi says breaking the awkward silence in the car.
I rolled my eyes and folded. I was so sick of Madison trying to tell me what to do and how to live my life. Didn't she get the message? I'm a grown woman and this was my life. It's been this way since we were kids. She was very pushy and we needed to set some boundaries.
"I did nothing wrong. She just blew everything out of proportion as usual." Madison says.
"Madison what Victoria decides, you need to respect that. If she feels like she wants to remain a virgin until marriage, let her." Mimi continued. "It's her life and not yours."
I just kept quiet. I was still aggravated from the argument we'd had in the salon. I felt like Madison had something to say about everything I do. It's been this way since we were kids and honestly, I was tired of it.
