He grips at the air, trying to slow his fall.
He falls behind his brethren, the last to be cast out.
The last to make his choice.
To live among humanity, but to never be apart of it.
Forever forsaken,
The Watchers.
Always to watch but never to learn,
Always to live but never to die,
To have no objective in their life,
To never feel the emotions of the people around them.
The Morning Star,
Favoured among them all.
Sometimes perfection isn't the greatest,
It can make you the weakest,
But in the day of The Modern we are told differently.
This was their lesson to learn,
To watch us make this mistake over,
And over again.
But I start wonder is it their punishment,
Or ours ?
To have fallen and never to rise,
Or shall we one day be given our enlightenment ?
To change not just our souls,
But to change the world around us.
Together they fall,
Forever we fall.
