Beep. Beep. Beep. "Ugh" with my eyes still closed I reached out and shut the alarm clock off. I turned around to go back to sleep. Wait a second... What day is it today? My eyes bolted open "oh my gosh! Today's the concert!" I jumped up and down on the bed and sang "today's the concert today's the con-" A loud shout interrupted me "SARAH! What are you doing up there?" Uh oh, I stopped jumping on the bed. "Nothing just getting dressed," I shouted back. Joyfully I turned to my dresser "hm what should I wear?" "Are you talking to yourself again?Ha what a dork." I sighed the one and only Ethan, my brother. "Get out Ethan" he snorted "why should I ?" I was getting mad "BECAUSE this is my room" "fine get ready for your stinking King and Country concert " He turned and left the room. "It's FOR king and country!" I shouted after him then to myself "why do people always forget the for? Is it really that hard? I mean come on." rolling my eyes I turned back to my dresser, ruffling through the clothes I finally picked a fix my eyes on you t-shirt a for King and Country sweater and black jeans. Then I got some socks out, quickly I put everything on and rushed down stairs for breakfast. "Good morning mom. What's for breakfast?" I sat down at the table and stuffed cereal in mouth "this s grd" some food spilled out of my mouth "SARAH" my mom looked shocked "manners please, oh and that was your brothers cereal." My eyes widened "Gotta blast!" I yelled over my shoulder as I ran off. "Wait! Sarah what time do we have to leave at?" Hmm the concerts starts at 7:30 pm the doors open at 6:00 and it was a two hour drive there "twelve o' clock." I said, my mom squinted her eyes "Are you sure?" "Uh yea mom, of course I'm sure" I smiled nervously. "Well ok then I better get ready." "Mhm see you soon mom." rushing up to my room I checked my phone 67% quickly I plugged it in and sent my best friend a text (S-Sarah SYD-Sydney)
S- hey you ready?
SYD- almost, hbu
S- I'm good to go
SYD- k I'll be over soon ttyl
S- just hurry!
SYD- I can't if you don't let me get ready!
S- uh right carry on
------two hours later-------
The doorbell rang "I'll get it!" Rushing down the stairs I opened the door and greeted Sydney "HI!" She squealed we hugged "Girls!" My shouted "Get in the car I'll be right down." Sydney and me rushed to the car and got in the backseat. "I can't believe this will be our twenty-second for king and country concert!" Sydney gushed "I know right! And I still can't believe that Joel actually sent us the tickets and backstage passes! He is such a sweetheart." Just then my mom came in the car "Ok girls lets get going." We were on our way!
