When I wake up, a blanket was covering half of my body. It must have been my Mother, she knew it will get cold in the morning. I stretched my body and stare up at the clock. Hallucinated by it, I immediately recall I have classes today.

I draw one side of my curtains, sufficient light for me to get dress up. I am just a regular white girl with wavy blonde with brown highlights hair but a little more diligent than others. I braid my hair and into a bun, clothe myself in bright colours and grab my schoolbag along with black leather boots.

Cackles in laughter downstairs, curious. I proceed down and everyone was ready for breakfast. I saw my Sister, Carnay, assembling my breakfast plate. Her cheeks was pastel as usual, like pale pink carnations which she was named after. Carnay prefers dressing in skinny jeans and Peter Pan top with a scarf around it. She don't really like heels, she either wear Vans or sneakers invariably. We aren't really opposites. I presume my sense of fashion is still better.

Perhaps, a light blue lens might match Carnay's features. Still proud and amaze I have blue eyes, having my Mother's genes.

My sister and I are quite alike, we have more of our Mother's genetics. We are three years apart. Fair skin, nose and forehead size was probably the similarities. I had blue eyes, diamond face shape and thin lips while Carnay had green eyes, long face shape and flat upper lips. Our body type is quite similar, curvy like an hourglass. Kidding. Some unmentioned parts differs since I have reached the puberty stage first. Glad that our height ain't close, I will be conscience-stricken frankly.

I nearly sit on a cat; thank goodness it purred. Seriously do not know what to do without him and others, his such a great company when I am alone. A white Persian cat with blue eyes, called Bluefin. My Sister once wanted to name Bluefin , - " Tom".

Are you kidding? That is so mainstream.

  Gosh.

His long and soft fur makes him huggable and cuddly. Softer than a pillow, but he is lazy most of the time and picky with food. Cats. The good thing is, he's friendly with someone which he has seen more than thrice. He likes me more than anyone else, very pleased with that. Well I am the one who chose to adopt him.He is coddled by our family. The only pet that we have and treasure.

As soon as my Mother brought in the food, the familiar tempting aroma hits me. Mother loves to cook exquisite dish and attempt on new recipes. I certainly do wonder what time she wakes up at. At times, it was rather tasteless or lack of seasoning. The dish has not have any overpowering flavour though, yet.Nevertheless, we still enjoy the food to remain the positive, good vibes.
She prepared a simple dish today, Eggs Benedict. We indulged in the delectable taste.

I am done with breakfast, only ate one as I have to hurry. I slip some cookies into my pockets, swing my legs off the chair and slide into my black leather boots.

My Mother lisped, "that was fast, you confident you are full?"

"Need to rush, should be plenty. Classes are half-day today and so, break time results faster. Thanks Mom  for the dish!" I acknowledged.

I signalled our driver, Mitch, with eye-contact that he has to drive me to school now. I told him to alight me at the school entrance, I must submit forms quick before the deadline's due.
