Luke and andi thanksgiving special

Rahartadamsislove: just saying guys that this is just me playing around with an idea I saw in a fanfic I was reading at one point I absolutely loved that fanfic and so I decided to try out the idea also this is a special so this time it's not based around wits academy at all ;) 

The earth felt like it was humming softly to its own musical tone the air kind of sticky and warm but not enough for andi to stay inside with a reluctant Luke 

"Come on Luke this I'll be fun!" Andi shouted in her high pitched 6 year old voice Luke dragged his feet behind being seven and one year older then andi he couldn't understand her enthusiasm today of all days it was the middle of summer and andi had stayed over at his house that night 

"Why today it's too hot for this!" Whined Luke he emerged from the darkness of the porch following andi out into the open he was immediately hit with a blazing beam of light from the sun making him want to run back inside of his cool air conditioned summer house 

"Come on Luke this will be fun I promise" andi smiled brightly since andi and Luke had been friends since Luke was 2 and andi was 1 they always spent summers together andi's mom had been friends with Luke's mom because they had worked in the same place for a couple of year and soon after their kids became the best of friends 

"Fine" Luke pouted allowing the excited overall wearing girl to drag him into the flower garden not to far away from Luke's house andi sat down digging up the floors with her tiny fingers placing them in the soft dirt beneath it 

"Look what I found!" Andi yelled Luke got close getting down on his knees and sitting beside the younger girl 

"What?" He asked andi pulled her now dirty fingers out holding up a worm Luke squeeled backing away from her Andi laughed 

"Awww is Luke afwiad of worms" she asked laughing loudly and holding the worm over Luke's torso he jumped up running away from andi andi smiled seeing this as an opportunity for a game of tag in seconds she was on her feet chasing after a scared Luke Luke ran around his longer legs making him much faster than andi andi continued to laugh holding the worm in between her index and thumb when she tripped on a rock crashing into the grass she whinced immediately 

"Owww!" She cried out Luke stopped running back and bending down andi had dropped the worm and was now cradling her knee she wasn't crying because well andi rarely cried and her mom always thought it was werid a small red scratch coated a small portion of her knee andi winced in pain and Luke looked worried 

"Come on let's go inside" he said slinging andi's arm around his neck and pulling her into the house where his mother was at the stove

"Hey what happened?" She asked immediately seeing andi's red knee andi stood comfortably once Luke had let her go 

"I'm fine ms.archer just a cut" andi said but Luke forced her into a chair anyway Luke's mom pulled the first aid kit off the top of the refrigerator pulling out a wet wipe and a band aid with small stars on it she dapped andi's cut carefully this time andi sat still watching her intensely until she placed the band aid on her knee andi flexed her knee smiling at a still worried looking Luke who immediately blushed 

"All better now here take a Popsicle you must be sweating like pigs after being outside all morning" Luke's mom commented andi took it ripping off the wrapper hastily she quickly handed Luke one as well the two thanked her before andi dragged Luke out onto the porch 

"Can we please do something else now I don't want you to get hurt again" Luke said andi smiled grabbing Luke's hand and sitting down on the porch swing Luke immediately sat down next to her looking at andi's small thumb which she was rubbing back and forth against the smooth skin on Luke's hand
