It was break time, and all the children ran out of their classrooms all happy and excited.
All except for a young boy and a young girl (or boy) the boy's name was Ayato and the young girls name was (Y/N) you would always see the two together alot.
Ayato being stubborn and slightly cold and then there's (Y/N) always happy rarely cross. When you see the two together it would always bring a smile to your face, "Ayato-kun?" (Y/N) asked as she (or he) turned to the blue haired tsundere "yeah? What is it?" Ayato replied with a sigh as he stared at the girl in the corner of his eye "why are people so scared of us?" (Y/N) asked in a shy yet hushed tone.
The young boy sighed slightly and fully turned to the girl he placed his hands on her shoulders and replied "it's because we're Ghouls, they think that we're monsters that only kill people for fun, but they don't understand that we have to eat human flesh to survive" a single tear ran Down the young girls face Ayato sighed and gently wiped the tear away and With a soft smile he said
"Why are you crying you idiot? You've got me to protect you I'll keep you safe I won't let anyone hurt you" (Y/N) hugged Ayato as she cried slightly on his shoulder she didn't bother answer his question.
Ayato hugged back and softly whispered to the girl
"I love you my little bunny rabbit"
