Chapter 4

Kokoro's POV:

It Sunday. So in order to enjoy this day I just hung around (y/n)'s house and took pictures from her window. She looks so cute with her hair messed up in the mornings, and she looks good in lazy clothes. I looked through her living room window and saw her laying on the couch eating (f/c) (favorite chips). I was about to take another photo but her cat jumped up in the windowsill from inside and got in the way. No matter what angle I put the camera in I couldn't get a good picture.

Her cat started pawing and meowing at me through the window and I saw (y/n) start to move her head and look over. I quickly crouched down and ran to a corner of her house just in case she opened the window to look out.

After about 5 minutes of waiting, I finally went back over to the window and her cat wasn't there. Which meant I could get the picture. I took the picture and put it in a photo album.

I went to a house that a guy from school goes to. I know he was eyeing (y/n). I walked up to his door and knocked. He answered the door and we went to 'hang out'.

Your POV:

I was playing with Felix and decided to call (f/n). But them I remembered she was going to be hang out with her cousin all weekend. I turned on the T.V. again and it was in the news. I don't know why but I just decided to watch it for a while. I was about to turn it but I heard the name of my street.

News Cast: Its been reported that there have three missing persons reports on (y/s/n). But one of the three have been discovered as a murder. The victim being a young boy at the age of 17 and name of Bret Lynch.

   I couldn't believe it. Bret my best guy friend has been found dead. Who could've done this?! I felt my eyes begin to water as I allowed the tears to spill. Why? Why does this have to happen? He was such a good person. This shouldn't have happened, at least not to him.

(F/n) was good friends with him to but does she even know about this yet? Maybe I should text her. Maybe I shouldn't and just let her have some fun with her cousin. But as soon as I thought that I heard my phone go off.

(F/n): Did you hear about what happened on the news!?

Me: Yes. I can't believe it. I'm crying. He was such a good guy.

(F/n): I think that just ruined my weekend with my cousin. :'(

Me: Don't let it do that. We should let his death burden us.

(F/n): Yea I guess. :') well I gtg. Ttyl.

I put my phone away and wiped the tears away. I heard a knock on the door and opened it. Kokoro stood there with a worried look on his face. "Are you ok?" I smiled sadly and nodded. "Yea. I guess you heard to." He nodded and smiled sadly. "I'm sorry this happened to you." He opened his arms and I ran into then and began sobbing.

Kokoro's POV:

I finally killed that Bret guy, but I hate seeing my love so sad. I hugged her tightly. I picked her up and she wrapped her legs around my waist as I carried her to the couch an sat down. She stopped sobbing after a while and looked up at me. "S-sorry about this. It's just that. He's been one of my best friends sense middle school and he's always made me happy when I was picked on."

   "It's fine. I'd do anything to make you feel better." I told her. She realized that she was straddling my hips and blushed as she got off. I hide my smirk as she looked away and turned the T.V. on to (f/s).

   We watched T.V. for a while and changed the channel a few times. As we were watching I looked over to her and thought about how i'd go on a rampage for her. But I'll have to wait. Her cat came up to me and jumped in my lap. I started rubbing under its chin and behind its ears, switching between the two. By the time I stopped it was laying in my lap with its eyes closed. I didn't notice (y/n) looked over until she laughed and I looked at her and saw her looking at me with her cat in my lap. I smiled at the cat and laughed a little to.

Your POV:

   I saw Felix laying in Kokoro's lap and laughed. He soon looked at the cat to and laughed along with me. Felix got up and left at the sudden rumbling of his chest. We stopped laughing and he looked over at me. "Can we get a picture?" My eyes widened as I realized that my hair and everything didn't look good. I couldn't take a picture in this condition. "B-but I'm not ready. My hair is a mess and everything." He only laughed and looked at me. "I don't care what you look like in the picture. As long as your in it. Plus, I think you look good in anything." He mumbled the last part to where I couldn't hear. "O-ok. I guess." I said nervously as I tried to straighten out my hair, which worked surprisingly well. He got his phone out and took a picture of us. He didn't let me look at it just in case I didn't like it. "It's getting late. You should go before my parents get here." I told him standing up. He stood up as well and we walked to the door. "Yea I guess. Well...see you tomorrow at school." I smiled and waved as he did the same and he left.

   I went to my room and slept until my parents got home. We had dinner and I went back up to my room to sleep. Not a lot of things have happened today but the things that have happened made a big impact on my life. I thought to myself as I drifted off to sleep.
