Let me tell you something, no I'm not a kid who sits in his room all day but today had to be a lazy day. As I'm laying in my bed I hear the familiar ringtone for my best friend Whyatt. I look at my phone and see "Rose boy we need you to come look at this meet us at the old football field by the bushes". Living in a small town with hardly anything to do on a lazy took the chance to when I got it to go somewhere. Also another advantage to living in a small town is that you can get from place to place easily. I approached my friends as they said "Over here Rose boy!" I started to run wondering what they wanted. "What is it guys?" they looked at each other and Whyatt said "We found you a cool rose". Me acting like an excited school girl i started to grin and say "Show me, show me". The two of my friends and I start to make our way down a trail into a patch of trees then a dark clearing with a violet glowing figure. I look at my friends in confusion "what is this a joke?" they shook their heads and walked closer to the glowing object. As I got closer I realized they weren't kidding this is a glowing violet rose.
I was giddy and excited to see a glowing rose no one has seen one yet let alone even knew they existed. I walked closely and touched one of the rose buds. Feeling a shock I jerk my hand away then try again. Only this time I pulled at a petal it was hard to pull it off and was durable. My friends and I left about ten minuets later we were on our way home I said my goodbyes as I split from them and headed home. I placed my petal on my desk and looked at it pulling a piece of paper out and starting on a drawing. "Zach! Dinners ready!" My Dad called and I scoffed walking downstairs "hey buddy." I looked at him angrily. "Don't act like my friend!" I growl back he glared at me as I grabbed my food and walked upstairs to my room. The violet rose glowed bright with my anger i picked it up and hole punched it at the top and put it through a necklace and placed it on my neck.
