another chapter in our lives

(so this is more like a sequel but it's still part of the story so an in-story-sequel, and sorry it took so long to write I actually kind of forgot about this story)
You were walking through out the damp caverns and tunnels of iron island darkness painted on the walls your hand griping the pokeball of your espeon in case a wild pokémon pops up in front of you, it was dark and not knowing where you were going was a bonus then you bump into a creature of the shadows (a steelix) "go espeon!" You said releasing it but the darkness blocked it's vision leaving it fretting and swinging it's head side to side in confusion and you knew the steelix would attack "espeon look out!" You said before a thud was heard and the earth rumbled from the aftermath
"are you alright?!" A voice said as a gentle light began to glow and your eye sight adjusted to see a man with longish blue hair with a blue hat that spikes in the back, a blue blazer (fancy word for fancy jacket) a strange gold pattern on his shirt a pair of grey pants and black shoes
"yeah thanks." You said as you stood up "you look really familiar have I met you before." You asked
"no I don't think we've met before we don't even know each other's names." He smiled as lucario Walked up to espeon "it's strange he never warms up to strangers or their pokémon." He said watching lucario pet the espeon "I'm Riley." He said "I'm (y/n)." You said
"(y/n) you might actually think I am my ancestor his name was Arron he stopped one of the wars and helped the tree of beginning." Riley said
"my ancestors name was (a name of your choice or your name) she was heart broken because her lover went to war and when he never came back she went to the tree of beginning but never came out again most people say she committed suicide or was killed by the trees insides." You said as Riley took your hand a small amount of heat rising to your cheeks "I have a picture of her if you want to see." You said opening your bag
"that would be nice." He said as you pulled out a picture of a lady in a frilly pink dress an espeon at her feet there was a grin plastered on her face her eyes wrinkling in the corner but a rip down the centre of the picture always left you wondering what was on the other half "that strange my ancestors photo had a rip down the middle too." He said pulling a folded picture out of his pocket the picture of a man that looked exactly like Riley smiling ear to ear a lucario at his side and you gently put the photos together like they could fall apart at any given moment
"t-they fit." You stuttered for your whole life you wondered what was on the other half of that picture and you finally found it
"Aaron never had any children nor was he married." Riley said
"same with (a/n)." You said "
do yoau want to finish what they started." Riley said
"excuse me!?" You asked really shocked
"you know get married and let them be at peace knowing they were tied together some how." Riley said
"I don't know we just met I met and I mean you really aren't supposed to marry some one you just met." You said in a panic
"then we'll get to know each other." Riley said grabbing your hand dragging you out of the cave
"what the hell totally uncalled for." You pouted
"your cute when you pout." Riley smiled
"and you're cute when your curled up in pain." You smiled back a confused look on his face then you punched him in the gut and he fell to his knees holding his gut wincing in pain and it was actually kinda cute "you know I wasn't wrong either." You smiled kneeling in front of him
"there's also another thing mud really suits your completion." He said throwing a handful of mud at you
"you are so gonna get it." You smirked lunging at him making him fall back first into the mud then he flipped so you were in the mud and he was on top
"you really want to go." He smirked
"do you?" You smirked grabbing a hand full of mud smashing both sides of his face with it bad idea because he nuzzled his cheek against yours
"how about we go on a normal date." Riley whispered in your ear your cheeks still connected
"yeah that sounds good pick me up at seven and I live in pastoria city the house with a yellow door." You said crawling out from underneath him
"okay see you at seven." He said as you released a (f/f/t) and flew back to your house returning espeon before doing so.
"so my first dates with a stranger what ever." You laughed as you slid into a steamy bath espeon asleep on the counter enjoying the warm hummid air. When you finished your bath you got dolled up in a(n) (f/c) pleated dress that went down to your knees and did your hair in (f/h/s) you did a quick twirl in the mirror smiling like your ancestor in the photo and espeon gave a happy cry almost like a nod in approval and you released your pokemon (f/f/t) on its perch, furret playfully chasing mightena, belossm dancing and dewgon was laying on the ice and water pool you built in the corner of the house so it can go out side and the dragonair that wasnt a part of your team but just lived in your house was asleep in a basket you had bought for laundry but dragonair enhabited when the door bell rang so you ran to the door swinging it open to see riley dressed the same as he was earlier but no mud and had a single red rose in his hand
"for you." He said placing it in your hands
"thank you." You said putting it in a glass then you went to return her pokemon when Riley put his hand on top of hers "fine but Im bringing dewgon and espeon youre in charge." You Said returning dewgon, sliping on a pair of (f/c) and walked out the door linking arms with Riley (because who locks doors in pokemon anyway)
"So I was thinking we could go for dinner than for a walk through the park." Riley said
"what ever you want to do." (y/n) said then you bent down and began to tie your shoe when Riley bent down too
"I'll tie them you stand up." Riley said so you did and he put your foot on his knee and tied your shoes
"oh god this is so embarrasing." You smiled as he stood up
"while shall we continue?" He asked linking arms with you
"sure." You smiled gently as you began to walk again striking up a long conversation about many short topics and you slowly realized that you weren't just falling in love with him you were tied with him by that binding red string and you never wanted to leave him and you would spend the rest of your life with him while thats what you wanted and weren't sure what Riley wanted annd then two of the guys with the freaky blue bowl cuts you've been seeing every ran infront of you knocking you into Riley when they began to speak about challening you and thats how your battle began "GO DEWGON!" You yelled releasing dewgon and Riley sent out lucario
But the battle was over just as quckly as it begun and you and Riley were paid and you continued on your way until you were at the bridge arcoss the small pond two swans were floating around toads were on lilypads turtles were perched on logs and the large koi and odd gold fish were caught swimming in the moon lit water and you and riley leaned on the railing smiling at the ponds beauty
"Its alomst as beautful as you." He said making a tint of pink danced over your cheeks
"thank you." You said pushing a stray strand of hair behind your ear and he turned to face you and you copied his actions then he tilted your chin up and closed the space between you, his lips gently pressed against yours and your eyes slowly closed as you returned the kiss your lips moving in sync with his when the strong desire for oxygen began to burn your lungs you both sperated smiling brightly and no words were said as for none were needed because you both knew at that momment you were in love and his arms pulled you into his chest
"promise we will be together till our end ," Riley whispered
"I wouldn't want it any other way," you smiled looking up at him.
