~

I sit on the couch as I feel what I dare not feel

I am a true inactive member of society

I sink in my bed as I hear what I can

I am a true member or disgrace

I wait for your reply, I wait for you to leave, I wait for you to stop, I wait for you to see

As hard as I try, it's not enough

As hard as I want to, I cannot speak

I want to scream and bawl and fracture my vocals

I want for you to notice my anguish

I want for you to notice me

And I try and try to break my bones, to fracture my soul, to rupture my lungs

I want to mutilate my existence

To have you notice me

Even if it disgusts you

Even if you choose to leave eternally

I want to stop whenever you seem to want to go

To have you notice me
