"Hey there! This is the first fanfic I'm uploading anywhere, and my second story on Wattpad :) I really love Infinite so maybe I'll actually finish this fanfic this time XD This chapter is a tad longer than most of my other chapters for other stories... But I think that's a good thing?
Anyway, there are some Korean words in the story that I use to remind the reader that the language the characters are speaking is Korean. Don't bash on me if you think adding Korean words in English writing is stupid, because I'm not doing it pointlessly :3
Also, I added a mini-dictionary at the end to translate some of the said Korean words, but I think any Inspirits/kpop fans should know what those certain words mean :P Okay. I wrote too much here. Enjoy! :)

It's eight in the morning and the sky is practically black. Sure I love storms, but not when I'm on my way to work. I don't have a car, I walk to work. Plus the bus comes later than I need it to.
I struggle to gather my thoughts as I stand in the doorway that leads outside. The black clouds get closer and closer even as I look at them. Hair practically being pulled apart in the wind, I set off in a rush so I don't get caught in the stupid rain. Only a few people are walking around the streets of Seoul. Towards the end of the city, there's a small coffee shop in which I work. That place is probably one of the most popular areas. The shop is on the corner of the street, so lots of people see it and have access to it. I really love it there. Speaking of... I better not be late! My watch now says that it's 8:15AM. Crap! I'm late! I start running the rest of the block to the cafe and pastry shop that is my life. The clock says 8:18AM as I walk in. It's my job to open up the shop, and the rest of the workers come at 8:30.
Turning on the lights, air conditioner, and other machines, I put on my apron and do the rest of my daily routine. Wash hands, fill up the sugar bottles, put coffee in the coffee machine, and set the pastry ingredients in the kitchen.
By the time I'm done with everything (I was rushing), Yooji and Hyolin walk in and put on their aprons. The two girls greet me as they do everyday. They're roommates, so they always come in together.
"Hi Minji, I like your hair today. The beach feel is nice," Hyolin, the nicer of the two, says.
"Thanks. Are those new shoes? I love that color," I smile, admiring her lime green platform wedge booties. We're not exactly friends, but everyone who works here knows that things have to function like clockwork to be successful. So that's why we have to be friendly with each other and not have any break in our system. The girls go to their place in the pastry kitchen, and I stay behind the main counter and organize the cash register. My watch says it's 8:32. The regular customers should be here around 8:45, so where are the rest of the workers? Should I call them? Myungsoo, or L as we call him, is always late. But Dongwoo, Anna, and Kyujae are always on time. Hyolin and Yooji, of course, are usually early. They love this job just as much as I do.
Finally, Dongwoo and Anna walk in with Kyujae coming shortly after. The tension in my shoulders slowly fades, and we all start getting ready for the first customers to walk in. In our cafe, we have a very unique system. If we need something from another worker then we call him or her by their shortened name, which we came up with as a group for each person. Myungsoo, as I mentioned before, is L (he picked it for some unknown reason), Dongwoo is simply Woo, Yooji is Dol because two is her favorite number, Kyujae is Dubu because he likes tofu, Hyolin is Linn, Anna is Na, and I, Minji, am Pabo (thanks a bunch, L). Very funny how everyone else has regular nicknames and I was stuck with "fool," right?
