"No!Please!Don't!No!No!" The mother of Erick shouted at the scheduler.
She thouhgt that the Death Scheduler also known as DS will kill her new born son Erick, but no, the DS has another intension and it is to make sure that Erick will have the Scheduler's mark.
"I'm not going to kill your son, but I'm going to put the Scheduler's mark on him." Replied the DS.
"Sche..sche...scheduler's ma..aa..rk? It means my son is the next DS?! Said the mother of Erick between her sobs.
"Yes, and no one can change it anymore.I will come back when Erick is 20.And when I come back Erick will learn how to be like me, wether he like it or not." These are the last words of the DS before it vanishes and leaves the hospital with complete silence.
Only the crying of baby Erick will be heard at the hospital room.
Couple of minutes later the best friend of Rachel also known as Dr. Ella arrived and checked if Erick's mother named, Rachel, and Erick was ok.
Tommorrow they will go back to their house and Erick's mother, Rachel still did not know how to say it to her husband that Erick has the scheduler's mark.
"How? How? Why? His just a simple child." Erick's mother whispered worriedly.
"Rachel the DS won't come back anymore and luckily he didn't hurt you.I saw the DS that's why I quickly ran to your room and good that both of you and your son are ok." Said Dr. Ella to Erick's mother.
"Thanks besty." Is the only word that Erick's mother could manage to say to the Doctor.
"Go rest, you need it." Said Dr. Ella.
"I will." And with that Erick's mother slowly shot her eyes close.Then she heard the door slowly closed too.
But there is still one thing in Erick's mother's mind which is ,Rachel, one thing that bothered her so much.Why Erick? Why her son?
The next morning
"Miss Rachel...Miss..." Called Dr. Ella to Erick's mother, Rachel.
"Hmmmmm?" Rachel said with a yawn.
"Your going home now." Said the doctor happily.
"What?! As in now?!" Rachel shouted with shocked reaction painted all over her face.
"Pft! Hahahahahahaha your face is funny besty" Doctor Ella said between her laughs
Doctor Ella, Rachel's bestfriend slash doctor.
"Haha! Stop laughing now cause when I go back to our house, I don't know how to tell my husband that Erick has the Scheduler's Mark.And that mark was placed at the back of my son and it is placed by the DS that you saw last night!!" Rachel shouted at her doctor bestfriend.
"What?!!!" Doctor Ella shouted back.
Analizing what she said no no scratch that, analizing what she shouted, she was also shocked.
"I..I ...ahmmm..." trembling with shock she didn't know what to say.
"Hush.It's not your fault.Maybe the Death Scheduler or DS just.. just.. had some complications hehe right?" Doctor Ella said. Expecting that her bestfriend Rachel would agree.
But no Rachel did not agree instead she said "The DS checked the list over and over, again and again."
"What if Rico your husband, won't accept Erick and kill him, or throw him away, or...or..." You could say that Doctor Ella is very nervous.
"Don't be so paranoid! Your making me more nervous!"
Rachel shouted at Dr. Ella.
"But..but..fine.Let's just pay your bill and of we go to your house with your baby."Dr. Ella said.
"Yeah." Rachel said and sighed.
"C'mon cheer up.Forget about your problems cause when you go back to your house every body will greet you there and they won't be happy if your frowning.You will be ugly in their for sure." Dr. Ella said.
Rachel chuckled."Crazy as ever besty." Rachel muttered.
"Yeah yeah whatever you say."
Dr. Ella said.
Both of them smiled as they felt that the mood lighthen up.
30 minutes later
"What a cute little baby, Rico he's so adorable." Rico's tita complimented Rachel and Rico's son Erick.
"Thank you Tita Beverly." Rachel and Rico said in chorus.
"Ahm hon I have to tell you something."Rachel told Rico.
"Is it private?" Rico asked Rachel.
"Yes. So ahm Tita Beverly we'll just entertain the other guests."
"Sure."Tita replied to Rachel with a smile on her face.
"Ahmm tita, baby Erick could we..."Rico said as he pointed his son.
"Ohhh hehehe right right here you go." Tita said while slowly handing baby Erick to Rachel.
"So hon let's go?" Rico said to his wife Rachel.
"Ok."Rachel quickly nodded.
They went to the veranda and there, Rachel confessed everything about DS and the mark to Rico.
"What?!" Shock was painted all over his face.
Rachel couldn't reply because she's crying, she's crying her heart out.
"Hush don't cry.Non of these is your fault.Ok now hush.We're going to protect him from the DS.We will protect baby Erick, we will." Rico assured Rachel her wife that every thing will be fine
"But...but...ho..w...can..we?" Rachel questioned his husband Rico.
"We will move to another place away, away from here." Rico said.
"But the DS is every where.We will be spotted for sure.Where are we going to hide, or to go?" Rachel questioned his husband Rico.
"He may spot us, but it would take him years to find us.Even if he would find us atleast it would take a long long time or better yet years to find us." Rico explained to her wife Rachel.
"It is going to be alright.Everything will be fine." Rico assured his wife which is now silently crying and Rico also assured his son Erick which is now sleeping.
5 years later
"Happy 5th birthday Erick" Rachel told her son.
"Thanks mommy *muwah*." Erick thanked her mom with a kiss.
"How about for daddy, you don't have a kiss?" Rico jokingly pouted.
"Hehehe here is for you daddy *muwah*" Erick also kissed her dad.
"Erick go play with your friends first, and have a good time." Rachel told her son Erick.
"Ok mom." And with that Erick ran to his friends.
"Hahahahahaha" Only the lauging of children can be heard on the backyard.
When a man with black jacket appeard.
With Erick's nosy side he asked the man why is he on his birthday.
The man replied "I'm here to fullfill your b-day wish to have an extra ordinary life." And with that he gave Erick a stufftoy with a printed T-shirt.
"Thanks...ahmm." Erick was about to ask the man with the black jacket his name but his mother called hin already so he just wave at the man and said "Bye."
"Mom look a guy gave me a stufftoy with a printed T-shirt."
But instead of being happy Rachel turned as white as a white rat.She became pale.
She gave the stufftoy to Rico and pointed the words that are printed on it's T-shirt.
Rico was also shocked.
The words written on it was........
