Will's POV
(Tuesday)
Nobody had heard from Jordan since yesterday. He'd stopped answering his phone and wouldn't talk to anyone at school. It didn't surprise me when I walked into class and he wasn't there, even though it did worry me a little. No it didn't. I don't care about him.
I walked back to my seat dodging flying papers and other things. The bullies hadn't given up yet. They wouldn't accept the fact that they didn't bother me. The teacher walked in and started class. At the end of class she got a phone call. My class being as nosy as it is asked her what it was about.
"It was Jordan's parents explaining where he was."
I knew my friends were staring at me. They wanted to know as much as I did. I was the one to ask though.
"Where is he?"
"Come talk to me after cla-" She was cut off by the bell.
I ran over to her desk. I was really worried now.
"Where is he?"
"He's in the hospital."
"What, why?"
"He tried to commit suicide last night."
I ran out of the room. I wasn't going to class. I had to go see him. I don't care if he never wants to see me again. I need to know he's ok. I do care about him ok. I'm accepting it. I got to my car and drove to the hospital as fast as I could.
I pulled into the parking lot and ran into the building. I wasn't allowed to see him yet so I texted my friends to let them know what happened.The door opened causing me to look up. His mom lunged at me but was held back by his dad.
"This is all your fault!" she screamed.
He whispered something to her and she glared back at me but stopped trying to kill me. I don't know how it would have been my fault. His mom was finally distracted by other things and his dad came over to talk to me, his dad always liked me more than his mom did. (A/N I spent a few hours researching to make sure this stuff was right and made sense.)
"You know it's not your fault right?" he asked.
" Are you sure? I just feel like it's my fault."
"I'm sure."
"Will he be ok?"
"We don't know. He ended up stabbing himself in the lung. He has a collapsed lung. He'll have to go through some kind of medical procedure then he'll probably be in ICU for a while, that's all we know."
A/N: I took like 4 hours today researching hospitals and procedures and things that can happen after attempted suicide to make sure that it wasn't too inaccurate. Finally about to get to the part Lu doesn't know about.
