If you're living under some rock in the middle of nowhere, and haven't heard of Uncle Rick, then this chapter isn't for you. If you haven't read The Sword of Summer, skip it, too.
Okay, so here we go. FIRST OFF, I WENT TO A SIGNING AND ALMOST DIED!!. I MET FANS AND HAD LOTS OF FUN! I also got to hear exclusive announcements, which you may or may not have heard yet.
If you are worried about Leo, Nico, Percy, Annabeth, smile because there will be a final series set in the world of Greek mythology. It is called the Trials of Apollo. The first book is The Hidden Oracle, and will be out on May 3, 2016. Here's the official description:
How do you punish an immortal?
By making him human.
After angering his father Zeus, the god Apollo is cast down from Olympus. Weak and disoriented, he lands in New York City as a regular teenage boy. Now, without his godly powers, the four-thousand-year-old deity must learn to survive in the modern world until he can somehow find a way to regain Zeus' favor.
But Apollo has many enemies – gods, monsters and mortals who would love to see the former Olympian permanently destroyed. Apollo needs help, and he can think of only one place to go. . . an enclave of modern demigods known as Camp Half-Blood.
Next, we were told about The Hammer of Thor, the second book in the Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard trilogy. Since I refuse to spoil anyone, I (sadly) cannot tell you what it likely seems to be about. But I have a feeling it's going to be awesome! Sadly, there is no official description yet, but we know it will be out on October 4, 2016.
Last, but certainly not least, is Demigods and Monsters. It's a compilation of all the Kane-demigod crossover stories. It will also contain the first preview of The Hidden Oracle. I put the cover above, doesn't it look great?
That's all the Uncle Rick news for now, have a wonderful day! ^_^
