I wish I could be sick for her because I know that she's in pain.

I wake up to Aubree patting my chest and playing with little things around her like the sheets, and my hands. I'm guessing nap time is over, I grab my phone and check the time, four o'clock. We slept for four hours, well I did, I don't know how long she has been awake. I close my eyes for just a quick second, until I hear a loud thud, and a lot of crying. I shoot my eyes open and frantically look around on my bed, oh my god she fell.
"Oh my god!" I say rushing to her and picking her up, as she cries hysterically, so much that she's gasping for air. "Shh baby girl, you're okay!" I say bouncing her and rocking her, I feel like crying right now because, she's scared and hurt and it's my fault. "Calm down" I say trying to calm her down. I don't know what to do, I really don't.
I grab my phone and call my mom immediately. "Mom" I say as soon as she answers.
"Justin, honey what's wrong? Why is she crying like that?" Concern filling her voice.
"Mom she fell off of my bed, and I don't know what to do to calm her down!" I say and I hear her sigh, as I continue bouncing and rocking her.
"Oh no! Well sweet heart, unfortunately you have to just let her cry it out, she's in shock, that's all, just say calming words and coo at her make her feel safe. Use your words you know?" Mom says.
"Okay Mom thank you" I say and we say our goodbyes before we hang up.
I walk down stairs with a screaming Aubree, and set her in her swing, she loves that thing. "Okay you will be okay, I promise okay? I love you, I will be right back!" I say leaving her in her swing, which rocks her. I feel like a terrible parent right now, how could I let that happen? I'm stupid, I shouldn't have closed my eyes.
I grab a water bottle out of the kitchen, because I need something to drink, I am really thirsty. I walk back into the living room and Aubree is not crying as bad as she was and I pick her up and we sit on the sofa. As I take a drink of my water she tries grabbing it. "You want some?" I ask her and face it towards her giving her a little bit, and she makes a face and swallows the water.
"Yeah it's nothing special" I say to her, and she just stares at me and crawls off of my lap as I gently set her on the floor. Then the door bell rings, I groan as I stand up, not really in the mood for company. I get up leaving Aubree playing with some toys as I get the door.
"Hey!" Chaz says in the door way standing next to my best friend Ryan.
"What are you doing here?!" Trying to act surprised and excited.
"Well we haven't seen you since, like a year ago, and plus we need to meet Aubree!" Ryan says.
"I was not expecting this" I say, because they came all the way from Canada.
"Come in" I say and they walk in pass me, and into the living room.
As we walk in, I hear noises in the kitchen. "Hang on" I say and go to the kitchen, to see Aubree pulling stuff out from under the sink.
"What the heck?" I say to her in a playful voice, "No no!" I say picking her up and she starts to fuss, getting a little angry that I caught her. "You know I need to baby proof the kitchen now!" I chuckle and she just looks at me, like I am crazy.
"Okay so here's Aubree, who was just in the kitchen, pulling stuff out from under the sink!" I say putting her back down and she crawls over to the tv area.
