Missing you

Where it all started

Carla's (mom) pov
"Mommy I want a dolly for my birthday this year!"
"Awe Eren.. Don't you want this toy truck instead? Look how cool it is!"
"No I like this Dolly's dress!"
"okay" she sighed. "We'll get the doll."
"Yaaaay!!"
I noticed Eren starts acting strange around age 3. He doesn't like things that any usual boy likes.. He likes dresses, dolls, and tiaras. I never questioned it. They're all just toys so it never mattered to me. I just want him to be happy. His adopted sister Mikasa doesn't see anything wrong with it either. In fact, she loves playing dress up with Eren and stuff.
"Eren.. Your hairs getting long! Do you want me to cut it?"
"No!! I like it long!" He'd say.
"Alright as long as you're happy." I said kissing his head.
When he turned 10, he started making his own decisions about himself.
"M-mom.. Can I talk to you..?"
"Of course honey what's up?"
"Is it alright if you guys could call me Elaine..? I don't like Eren.."
When he said these words, I didn't know what to think.. I want to accept Eren and I do but is he really sure about this?
"Mom I want to be a girl instead of just act like one.."
I hugged him.
"Of course my baby girl."
She hugged me back. This is my child. Before I even knew her gender when she was in my tummy, I just wanted a healthy baby. She is still my healthy baby so I don't care she wants to be a girl.
-a week later-
We went into the hospital to talk to a doctor.
"Mommy why are we here...?"
"I'm giving you the best birthday present ever so I can't tell you yet."
She held my hand tight.
"Mom.. I love you. I'm scared.."
"Trust me."
The doctor called us.
"Eren?" He called out.
"Mom it's Elaine."
That day we changed her birth certificate to her real name. Elaine. The doctor gave her pills to stop manly things from happening. She had to take them everyday to stop man puberty and to start women puberty.
(I actually don't know if this is an actual pill or not but I'm going along with it o.o)
We left the hospital and Elaine hugged me really tight.
"Thank you mom.."
"I love you sweetie."
She's doing home school until she feels comfortable with being around other people. I get it.. She's scared people will know that's she was once a he.
-3 weeks later-
"Mom I'm ready to go to school..." She explained.
I enrolled her into school with Mikasa. Mikasa showed her around and helped her make friends. She came home and told me all about how everyone was so nice to her and she loved it. I feel so relieved no one tried to hurt her.
As the years grew on, Elaine started going through puberty and grew boobs.

Elaine's pov
I finally have boobs now! Wow this is great! They're very small now but they'll grow. I'm really a girl. I love staring in the mirror seeing myself. I feel more confident.
-the next morning-
I woke up feeling really weird. I looked down and saw I had a boner. Fuck! I forgot about that thing.. I barely look at it I hate it so much. I have to wait till I'm old enough to get surgery down there. I want it gone!
I started crying into my pillow. I didn't realize how loud I was until Mikasa walked in.
"Elaine? What's wrong?"
I showed her.
"That! That's what's wrong!" I cried.
She hugged me and told me it'll be okay.
"I hate it Mikasa I hate it! I want it goneee!"
"You know you're just 14 but maybe there's something we can do.. Let's talk to mom."
It's too awkward right now so we decided to wait awhile until it went down.
"M-mom... I want the surgery now.."
"You sure?"
"Positive."
"Alright I'll set an appointment tonight to see when we can."
"Okay.."
As we walked away Mikasa told me how easy that was and helped me pick my outfit out for school.
I picked a black dress and put on a nice jacket to match. Mikasa did my hair as always because I have trouble doing it..
I put mascara on and we left.
"Bye mom!" We yelled as we left the house.
-at school-
I walked into class and sat at my seat.
"Now everyone.. We have a new student joining us today. Welcome him!" Professor Hanji said.
A guy with black hair, black ripped jeans, and a band t- shirt on walked in. He is really cute. I can't take my eyes off of him.
"Oh Levi! You sit right there next to Elaine. Elaine will you please raise your hand?"
I jumped up and raised my hand blushing.
He sat next to me and I looked down at my paper. Class ended and I got so nervous I jumped up and and fell out of my seat. Geez that's so embarrassing. My face lit up and I saw my books fell with me. He stared at me then helped me pick up my stuff. I tried standing up but as soon as I got up I smacked my head on the table and fell back down. I put my hand on my head and then jumped up once again standing. I'm never this clumsy!! What's going on?! I took my books and ran off.
-the next day-
We walked into the doctors office and the doctor explained to me that it's still too early but he sent me home with more pills to take to make the boners slow down/ stop.
