My Insights regarding Teenage Pregnancy
Teenage pregnancy is now increasing in number. There are a lot of young women who are getting pregnant. It is very sad to say that as years goes by, teenage pregnancy is rapidly increasing. Yes! They made a wrong decision by getting pregnant at a young age. But, they cannot do anything about that. They may have regrets right now, but their life must go on. They have to face that big challenge in their life. They have to be strong enough to face the prejudices of other people to them. Yes! I admit. I am one of those people who judged them. But I’ve come to realize that it is really not easy in their part. The moment they decide to continue their pregnancy is a way of showing how brave they are; First, to admit to their family their situation and second, to face and be ready to accept the judgments of other people. I am proud of those young women who continue their pregnancy and not to indulge in abortion. They really deserve a second chance. A chance to continue another journey in life and be ready to a new role in life, that they are not the daughters already, but a mother. I know it is really hard for them. They have to quit being an easy go lucky teenager, to minimize going out with friends because they already have now a big responsibility, as, soon to be mothers. They may not enjoy fully their life as teenagers, but I know that they will continue their lives happily and focus on the baby inside their womb. It will serve as their lesson and I know, as they continue their lives, they learned everything from that experienced. Some may don’t have the father of their baby by their side but I am sure that they will do their best to take their responsibility as single mothers, and not to waste the second chance given to them.
In our life, we all experience many things. We faced different problems and encounter different challenges, but we all must know how to face and fight all those problems. Let us all take those problems as challenges that could make us even stronger. Let us all put in our minds that God will be and always be with us, guiding us in all problems that we face. Let us all remember also that there are people in our lives that need and love us. Let us all not give up. We must enjoy our life. It is a precious gift from God that we should take care and give importance. We are very lucky that we are given an opportunity to live and enjoy our life here on Earth. Instead of quitting, we must go with the flow. And always remember that life must go on as long as God is always within our hearts.
Another thing I don’t like about others is their being judgmental toward people. I have always observed that others easily judge people who have done wrong not knowing the real story. They judge easily without having any background on what is happening toward others. We all must understand one another. We should learn how to deal others with respect. We all know that we are different from each other and we also experienced different things in life. We must understand individual differences. Others may experienced big problems in their life, so instead of judging them, we must learn to help and understand them, and by showing them respect and understanding it is already a big help.
