The Past

[Sandara's POV]

It's a Saturday morning. I suddenly woke up because of the commotion happening downstairs. I threw my gaze at the window. The sun was greeting me but I was very annoyed. Seriously? I really don't want to leave my bed and go back to my precious dreamland.

I stayed late at night because I was watching a drama online. It's a good thing that my parents did not saw me that I stayed very late or else they would punish me... AGAIN.

Anyway, back to the reality, I was making my way downstairs when somebody yelled so early in the morning.

"Argh! Why can't I do this?! I give up!"

"Oh come on, do it again."

I saw my mom and my ever annoying brother who woke me up so early in the morning. They were making breakfast. I saw my brother holding a pan, I think he was flipping a pancake. But he can't flip the pancake, making the side dark brown in color.

"Good morning sweetie. Why are you up so early? We didn't finish making breakfast yet." My dad kissed my forehead.

"Daaad~ Who would not be up when somebody was yelling and smell burnt pancakes?" I pinch my nose, earning laughter from Mom and annoyance from my brother, Sanghyun.

"YAAAAH! ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ME!" He is like a roaring thunder, you know.

"Aiiiish~ Why are you hot headed so early in the morning? Ah~ Chincha~ If you're like that, no one would marry you."

"As if someone would marry you..."

"Yaah! I heard that!"

"Fine. I'll just finish this and you go eat."

I sat on my chair, take a sip on my hot chocolate and gobble down a pancake. I heard a beep on cellphone, someone might have texted me. I reached for my phone and open the pending message.

Santokki~~~ Are you awake? Text back. :)

It was my bestfriend, Chaerin. We have been bestfriends for like 9 years. She is very kind hearted towards me and believe me, she's craaazy! Some people said she's quiet: NO, you don't know her. She's like a walking battery, full of energy in her system. I send her a text right away because she's gonna throw tantrums if I don't.

A few minutes, my phone beeped again.
