Alex got back from the cemetery and acted like everything was fine. But it wasn't. Alex, unbeknownst to anyone else, had been struggling with her brother's death. One day, Tracy got home from work and she heard soft crying coming from the bathroom. She opened the door to see Alex, head between her knees and arms covering her head. Tracy rushed over and held her, telling her it was going to be okay. Alex let her arms fall, revealing red lines dashed across her arms. Tracy helped Alex up and she asked where the blade was. Alex pointed to the bathtub and Tracy looked in. She saw a bloody razor as well as what must have been Alex's blood. Tracy drove Alex to the nearest hospital, St. George. They walked in, Alex leaning on Tracy's arm. Tracy called for a nurse and told her everything she knew. The nurse told Tracy to leave and get some rest, it being almost 11:00 pm. Tracy declined, saying she'd want to be near Alex. The nurse said that after they found out what was wrong, she'd still have to wait 24 hours. Tracy told the nurse that it was fine and the nurse nodded. They wheeled Alex off, a single tear running down her cheek.
