A Dream-like Dream

How are you guys?

I woke up lonely. No Vic tucked under my arm. No light breaths against my neck. No mumbles of a restless Mexican. And I definitely wasn't in his bed either.

I sat up. Looking around, I noticed I'm in my bed. My bed from home. I slowly walk down stairs, phone in hand and peek around every corner and see Harper and Kailey sitting in the kitchen. "Hey Kells, whatcha doin up?" Harper asks

"I don't know. What day is it?" I ask, extremely confused.

"Saturday?" Kailey responds

I thought it was Sunday morning...

"Oh ok. Morning." I say, walking over to my sisters and kissing their cheeks.

"Why?" Harper asks

"Weird dream." I whisper before getting a box of cereal and pouring it in a bowl for some dry cereal.

So, I guess, I still have a boyfriend, never kissed Vic, never, technically, got told about his problems, and Vic never told me he loves me.

That's the problem though...I'm falling for him because of some dream. How the fuck does that work?

"Ok, whatever you say Kells. Going to Matty's or Mike's today?" I nod, not really listening

"Which one?" Kailey asks

"Oh, sorry. Um, probably both?" I say, it sounding like a question. Probably not.

"Uh, ok. Have fun?" Kailey mocks with a grin, Harper looking confused

"Oh ha ha." I shoot back sarcastically adding a stick out of my tongue.

"Mkay. Ima go get ready." I say with a smile and a wave. I run up the stairs and into my room. My dark wood floor is relatively cold for a San Diego February. It feels nice.

I decide to text Mike, because I need to talk to Vic.

To Mike-
Hey man. You guys busy today?

I set my phone down and change from my jammies into black skinny jeans and a Green Day tee. I then go back to my phone.

From Mike-
I'm going with mama and papa to the store. But you can hang out with Vic if you want. Stayin for lunch?

To Mike-
If mama says its ok...

From Mike-
Yeah, it's fine. Don't forget your over-night bag haha:)

To Mike-
You know me better than I do!

From Mike-
I know. I'll probably see you for a few minutes once you get here. Huuurrrrrryyyy!!!

I send the last text and grab my bag, keys, and wallet. I run down the stairs and hug the girls, along with my brothers who had just woken up. "Bye siblings. Don't burn the house down please!" I yell as I walk out the door, hearing a faint 'bye' before the door clicked shut.
