chapter 12 - mistake with Jackie

Ezra's pov

The book tour is doing really good. I've met lots of fans and it's really fun.

Its nice to be away from the kids, but I miss them alot. And Aria I miss her so mcuh. I hate being away from my family for so long

I'm at a book signing in New York right now.

"What's your name?" I ask as I sign the book, not looking at who it is

"Come on Z you know who I am" the familiar voice says

I look up and see a familiar face...it's Jackie

"Um oh hey Jackie it's good to see you" I say

"Do you wanna hang out after and maybe get a few drinks?" Jackie asks

"Sure, but just as friends. I'm married and I have three kids" I say

"So I've heard. This is just two friends catching up after a while" Jackie says

"Ok I'll call you when I'm done" I say and she walks away

*after book signing at a local bar*

"So you're still with Aria?" Jackie asks

"Yep. Weve been married for almost five years now" I say

"3 kids already?" Jackie asks

"Triplets. Brooklyn, Presley, and Andy" I say

"How old?" Jackie asks

"They're in kindergarten. Aria's a kindergarten teacher now so they're in her class" I say

"Oh so she was pregnant at 18" Jackie says

"Ya" I say ashamed

"So what have you been up to?" I ask after an awkward period of silence

"Let's not talk about me and just get straight to the drinks" Jackie says and orders us drinks

After having WAY to much to drink, I was wasted. I was soooo drunk

Jackie took me back to her apartment with her and stripped out of her clothes and I did the same

We got into bed and things happened that I'm not proud of

Aria can't know about this. It was a mistake and I was drunk. I hope I never see Jackie ever again
