Chapter 2

Next day, I was one of the late comers at school so I had to stand in the queue of about 20-30 students which have been late. In the morning assembly our National Anthem was getting played so everyone stood straight and not making any noise. As soon as anthem finished, students started talking about their own stuff and I couldn't control my smile. Well that was stupid isn't it?

I went to my class when everyone got released by punishment of being late. There's our class teacher already in the class taking attendance and I sighed because I didn't liked her. I entered in the class by taking her permission and sat on my bench. I looked around in search of Varhamna. But she was absent I don't know why. 

There were Alma and Ayesha smiling at me and waved for me. I waved back with a bigger smile and sat with them. Biology period started after attendance, our biology teacher, Jyoti ma'am was telling us to study hard for exams and there will be nothing like cheating and bringing chits, the surveillance will be tough. 

"What does she do in the school? She can't even teach us a paragraph properly." I whispered in a disgusted way. 

"haha! don't worry she is going to be retired next year." Alma added with a pity look on her face for the teacher.

"Shut up you guys and let me concentrate what is she saying!" Ayesha contended between our talks.

Saira and her friend were in the class talking about what had happened yesterday. They both were worried about it and they haven't told anybody about it yet.

Suddenly a lady entered the classroom. She was the teacher who warned Saira and her friend yesterday. Tension could be seen on Saira's forehead, it was all sweaty and her hands went cold when she heard her teacher, Seema Ma'am, calling Saira and her friend Humam to meet the principal. They both looked at each other with extreme nervousness on their faces and Humam could tell that Saira was about to cry. 

They came out from their seats and Seema Ma'am looked at them with the same face expression which she gave yesterday. She ordered both of them to follow her.

Saira was feeling distraught and her feets were becoming heavier as they were heading close to the principal's office. Humam tried to talk to her teacher but she wasn't ready to hear a word. Both of their faces were looking pale as Seema ma'am asked principal to come in. 

All of them went inside; there was an extreme silence which was making the two friends more nervous. Saira could feel that her brain was taking too stress that a nerve was shuddering into her head and her brain was about to burst. They both looked at a woman seated in the middle side behind the table placed in the office. 

She stared at the girls entered in the room with eyes full of anger. Both the girls greeted her Good Morning but she didn't responded. Principal looked at Saira and said, "Both of you, Tell me your Father's contact number". "NOW!" she yelled really loud that left both of them thrilled.
