My eyes felt as if they were glued shut but I forced them open, even though the room was dark I could tell I had been here before. My eyes adjusted to the dim lighting, I could hear the rats scurrying around, I realised I was back in the room I first woke up in. With that thought I tried to move. Once again I was tied and trapped in a chair. "Fuck, how am I going to get out of this?" I asked out loud to no one in particular. My arms and legs were bound to the chair with rope.

I tried to wriggle my hands free but to my dismay the rope didn't budge. I tried to move my legs hoping they would come free, with every move the rope got looser, eventually my legs were free but sore. I stood up slowly balancing myself as the chair tried to weigh me down. Knowing I only had one way of getting free I did what I had to do.

I took a few steps forward then ran backwards so the chair and my back hit the concrete wall. The chair smashed into pieces freeing my arms. I let out a sigh of relief, that didn't hurt as much as I had expected, stretching my arms I made my way towards the wooden door. I put my hand on the cold brass handle and turned. To my surprise it opened. I walked out and the familiar smell of Danny filled my nose.

I glanced around the room to see I was stood in the kitchen. As I looked around and an object on the table caught my attention. Cautiously I made my way over. Danny must have wanted me to get free, on the table stood a plate of cookies, a glass of milk and a note. I read the note first;

"My Angel,

I'm sorry, please forgive me

Love - D .x."

I re-read it five times, each time my feelings growing stronger, and I took a seat next to the table and started eating the chocolate cookies. Each bite was as good as the first, the cookie would crumble and melt in my mouth, and it tasted like heaven. Just as I finished the last cookie Danny walked in with his head hanging down, he lifted his head to show pure sorrow on his face, I smiled and immediately his face lit up. He walked over to where I was sitting and took the seat opposite me.

"Hi." he spoke like a child that had just been told off.

"How are you?" I asked, wanting to avoid the awkward silence that would have followed.

"You really want to know?" He asked confused.

"Of course I do, silly." I replied, while reaching over and entwining our fingers.

He smiled at me before answering "I'm better now you're here again." his smiled faltered then as if reliving a bad memory, which I knew he was.

"Sorry about earlier Angel. I thought you were going to leave Me." he finished and then I looked at him, I mean really looked at him, his eyes showed pain and sorrow with tears on the brink of overflowing. Then once again my feelings grew stronger.

"I'll never leave you Danny." And I meant every word.
