Perhaps I have lost my mind in this whimsical wonderland?
Curiouser and curiouser.
I fell into this fallacy - this fantastical world of imaginings,
And as I amble through the lacquered cherry door;
I find myself in the secret garden. The rose-garden of Eden.
Where gardeners; just a mere pack of cards - paint the snow-white roses red.
How peculiar I ponder. But my path of marveling hinders .
When the King and Queen of Hearts emerge,
A knave bearing the crown upon a ruby velvet pillow.
And her reputation does indeed precede her. Rage colouring her features in a mask,
Beheading those whom oppose.
The red queen sovereignties. Building castles assembled from cards and blood.
And we become pawns in this mental paradise.
Trapped behind the red, red door.
