Why can't I walk away,

When you cast me aside?

Why can't I walk away,

When you tore me apart?

I wish I could stay away,

But you're just too close to my heart.

I wish I could stay away,

But it's just too hard.

There's a long road ahead now,

And I need you by my side.

I need you right here now.

And I just can't say goodbye.

Try to remember that day,

When I lost you along the way,

Just the other day.

I was really torn apart,

Not all in my heart.

Why can't you forget the past,

That drove us afar?

Is it really that hard?

Try to remember the time that we shared,

Not too long ago.

Was it the day I gave you my heart,

When you decided to run?

Was it the day I gave you my love,

You decided to say?

"It's over."

"It's over, for me you."

"It's over."

We're no longer one,

Now that we're done.

It's over.
