Cas looks like Logan Lerman in this btw :)
"Cas?" I nearly choke on the air as I say his name.
He's wearing a green sweater for fucks sake.
"Dean?" His eyes grow wide.
Fuck, his eyes. Those bright blue captivating eyes.
"Last time you wore something like that I kissed you." I point out as I look him over.
His hair is much longer, really short still though. He's so incredibly beautiful.
"That was a long time ago, but I remember that." He sits down next to me.
I swear my heart could fly right out of my chest if I was in a cartoon.
"Do you still like bees?" I ask as we start driving from his stop.
"Yeah." He pauses, "Is your dad around here?"
He did not just fucking say that.
My hand reaches for my sleeve, which I tug down as quickly as possible.
"Nope." I gulp, barely keeping my voice from cracking.
"Okay good. Just making sure, I remember he wasn't the greatest." Cas sorta half smiles, it doesn't seem sympathetic. More like thoughtful.
"Yeah. He been gone for a while now." I aimlessly fiddle with my shirt as I continue to look at him.
"We need to catch up." Cas smiles.
For some reason my throat feels like a stone is lodged in it, and my lips are dry. It can't really tell, but Cas seems really different. Or maybe I'm really different. Probably both.
"There's not much to catch up on, for my side anyways." I turn my face towards the window so my eyes won't wander over his body.
"Oh." He places his hands in his lap and stares at the back of the seat in front of us.
"You're gonna' bore a hole right through that seat if you keep looking at it." I eventually laugh.
He chuckles and looks back at me.
"Hopefully." He returns.
"Why do you say that?" My voice comes out almost defensive, but he doesn't seem to pick up on it.
"Because maybe then we can squeeze through the hole and run away together."
We didn't talk until we got to school after that.
Lol, so my grammar is intentionally bad when Dean talks. It's just the way he speaks sometimes in this fic.
