Ch. 4

I covered my mouth with my hand and cried while watching what Harry was doing to Junior. I shut my eyes and turned around. I ran down the dark alley, and to all the small shops. I gasped as someone grabbed my waist, and turned around. It was Harry. His knuckles were bleeding and his bottom lip had a cut in the middle. He stared down at me and cupped my cheek.

"Please don't hurt me"

"I won't Ali. I'll never hurt you"

"W-what happened to-"

"Don't worry about him"

"I need to go home"

I turned around and started walking to a little shop to ask the directions to town.

"I'll take you"

I turned around and saw his eyes full of hope and regret.

"Alright"

I walked next to him and we started walking down the dark, lonely road. After about 10 minutes later, of complete silence his range rover came to view. He opened the side door for me and then shut it with a loud slam that caused me to jump. He got in the car and started the engine then drove off at a high speed.

"Can y-you please slow down?"

"Don't tell me what to do"

His hands were tightly wrapped around the wheel, his knuckles turning white.

I got out of the car and walked over to my front door. I turned around and saw Harry in deep thought staring into the dark road. I pulled out my keys from my back pocket and opened the door. I turned the kitchen light on and grabbed a cup of water. I sighed as I put down the cup and then walked to my room. I walked over to my window and opened the curtain. His range rover was gone. He was gone. After what I had seen tonight I didn't want to be any closer to him. He could break me any time he wanted. The way he seems so hopeless one second and mad the other, scared me even more. He was danger and only that. I needed to stay as far away from him as possible. But for some reason it seemed like it would be something hard to do. Maybe he's not what it looks like. Maybe there's another side to him. A softer, happy one. Just maybe...
