Brad slipped the promise ring on his girlfriend's finger. "This is my promise to you that I will always love you, B." He looked deep into sapphire-blue eyes and leaned over to kiss her forehead.
"This is my promise to you that I will always be there for you." He continued on in a strong voice. Brad murmured, smiling. "This is my promise to you," He paused as he turned her around in his arms, wrapping his arms around her waist from behind, "that one day I will marry you."
Sabrina let out a gasp as her heart took in his last promise. Biting her lip, she whispered. "You promise?" It was a silly question, she knew.
The promise ring on her finger should be enough reassurance, but she needed to hear it from him. The blonde knew that their schedules had been hectic lately and that alone scared Sabrina. She didn't want to lose him.
"You promise?" She gulped as her eyes watered.
Bradley tightened his hand around her own, squeezing. Lifting her hand up to his mouth, he kissed the knuckle that held her promise ring. "That's a promise, Sabrina Ann Lynn Carpenter." Brad kissed her shoulder. "I love you!"
She closed her eyes tightly as she tried to make this moment last as long as she could. "I love you too, Baby."
