We had finally got to Seattle, after about 6 hours of lecturing. All they were really, "Its your money, not ours. Go for the deal. Who cares about size." I didn't like their logic, so I just smiled and nodded, for 6 hours. When I got out of the airport and was hungry, so I told my parents I was going to look for the 'fat stacks.' They probably assumed I was looking for a job, so they let me be. I was really just looking for pancakes. In my mind, I went over and over this hard decision. "IHOP or McDonald's?" That was a decision that I made on a daily basis back in Net York, but it just felt ddifferent in Washington. "IHOP is to cleche, McDonald's it is."I arrived to the nearest McDonalds when I heard a farmilliar voice.
"(y/n)! Why would you run off like that! You had us worried sick! Come here this instant!" they demanded. My stupid parents had followed me! Why do they have to ruin everything.(ross/p)
I has been sitting in the 'for 2' tables at McDonalds for my lunch break. "Where could I find this girl" I thought over and over. A young looking girl walked into the McD's. "Well I found myself a distraction. She's pretty cute," but my thoughts immeadiately halted then her mother came in and yelled at her. I was only 19, but I had to do something about this. I stepped between the girl and her mothrr while saying, "she just came to see me. She texted me right as she left the house." The girls mother left after that, probably in awe. Next, I had to deal with my choice. She turned around and I thought I was done for, but she just hugged me. Disbelief was in her eyes, but that didn't matter. She looked firmilliar, so I asked her name. She blushed, but it made her even cuter.(y/p)
I was we had gotten our food and sat down together. It was funny in my mind that I could make a friend so fast. He asked me a few questions. They were ice breakers really, but I didn't mind. Then it went silent. I got up the courage to ask the guy, now that I know as Ross, a question.
"Why did you even interfere? My mom is probably even more mad now." His response took me by surprise.
"Why not?" and it looked as though he got a little more confident. He puffed out his chest and gave me a devilishly cute smile. "I saw m'lady in distress. I felt like the hero you needed."
