Chapter 20

Kris POV

As I looked down from the roof top, I thought of the huge mess I've created. I don't know how its possible!  Heck, I don't even know what I said! It's not like it was entirely my fault either, she was over dramatic. However, perhaps I should have been a bit more polite..? **sigh** I don't even know whose  wrong....

Looking down in frustration, I tried to think about something else to distract me. The fans below didn't help much either, it just made me want to run back inside, which wouold have been counter productive. Looking around I noticed a hawk flying, marveling the beauty of it gliding through the sky. Just as I was watching, the craziest idea crossed my mind; I wanna jump down to see if I could fly. I won't do it of course, I'm not stupid. Not that stupid anyway.

So I stood there watching the bird. After a few minutes though, the hawk flew towards me. It flapped its wings and landed on the railing a feet or two down from where I was standing. Then it just stared at me. Feelig a bit unnerved, I took a step back as it took a hop forward. What he heck?!?! shouldn't it be moving away? To test it out, I decided to take a step forward. It stayed there. What?! I took another step forward, it was now within easy reach of my arm, and it still refused to move. I wonder if it would let me pet it? so I slowly reached out my hand, pausing a bit, then continued until my hand was only an inch away. Then it craned its head into my hand. Shocked, I slowly started to stroke its head, wary of its sharp beak. 

After a few strokes someone opened the rooftop door startleing both me and the bird, and causing the latter to fly away. Turning around in high alert, I relaxed when I realized it was just Lay. After a few minutes, he coaxed me into returning, and making me promise to apologize to Jae, which I was more reluctant to agree to, but I did, because I had a soft spot for Lay, (as did every other member in exo).

Jae's POV

Thank goodness that jerk isn't here, I thought as I glanced around the room, taking a seat. Just then he walked in. well speak of the devil...spoke too soon jae, you just jinxed it, I thought to myself. Sighing, I stood up and was about to start walking to leave the room when he stepped in front of me, blocking my path, I was about to move away when I looked up and his eyes were red! did he cry? Before I had time to put myself in check, the corners of my mouth turned up, into a smirk... which made him turn a shade of red.

-Flash back-

(Kris POV)

  While going back, a hooded figure approached us, clutching something in their hand, worried I quickly stepped in front of Lay. I was glad that I took such a precaution as the person raised his hand and sprayed something in my face. AND IT STUNG LIKE HELL!!!! thinking about it later on it was probably pepper spray, but man that thing is painful, and my eyes wouldn't stop watering. The culprit quickly ran away, after Lay screamed, "SECURITY!" I of course just covered my face with my hands and hoped no one would see me in this pathetic state. Lay quickly grabbed my hand and led me to the washroom where I washed my face, which made it a bit better, but it still stung and one look in the mirror confirmed my suspicions, I looked like a mess. If anyone were to see me like this now, my image would be ruined! Which was probably the goal of the perpetrator.

-End of flash back-

(Back to Jaes POV)

I felt kinda bad for smiling, because it could have been something serious, so I tried to hold a poker face, but as I was really struggling, it was obvious I was holding back a smile. Kris on the other hand got really red and shouted, "I wasn't crying ok?! I was attacked with pepper spray!!!" Upon hearing the real reason I burst out laughing.

  "you got attacked by Pepper spray?!?!? How the hell did they manage that??? You should have at least called security, man your pathetic" I said in between my laughs, I was now on the floor, slutching a stich on my side. While I was laughing my head off, Kris just got more angry, no wonder they call him angry bird! He's almost the identical shade of red now! Out of the corners of my eye, I could see the rest of the guys holding back smiles. Kris, opened his mouth, like he was about to say something, but stalked out of the room instead.

 Kris's POV

   I swear I will make that girl pay! she dares to laugh at me! at me! Before I said or did anything, I figured I was better off leaving the room. Normally I wouldn't care, but I stil have that promise to Lay that I made on the rooftop. I went to the dance room (I would go to the roof, but the practice room was closer), put on some classical music, and sat down, trying to relax and concentrate on Bach. After moonlight sonata, a knock interrupted my thoughts. I nodded my head, signaling that she may come in (AN: the door has a window). The girl slowly walked towards me and bowed her head slightly and mumbled something, which I think was an apology. Hmmm, interesting, perfect time for revenge! "what was that?" she mumbled it again, slightly louder. "wha?" 

" Im sorry for laughing you ***hole!!!" she shouted out, blushing "Happy now?!?"

"yep, you may now go." at that she lookedlike she was ready to burst.

" I COME HERE OUT OF MY OWN GOOD WILL AND ALL YOU SAY IS 'YOU MAY GO'?!?!?!? DO YOU HAVE NO CONSCIENCE!? THE LEAST YOU COULD DO IS SAY APOLOGY ACCEPTED!!! OR APOLOGIZE FOR YOU MISTAKE!!!" She shouted at me angrily with a red face, with eyes flashing. Wow, she actually looked slightly scary.

"look we got off on the wrong foot, so take a few deep breaths and pretend we just met each other okay? For the performance's sake, alright?" I said icily, I really wanted to shout at her for shouting at me but that would only spark more arguments, and we really needed to get this resolved before the performance which was in 2 hours.

" Fine!" she said and stalked out of the room.
