When Kody finally got out to the truck, I saw him look down at my sleeves.

"Kody? Can we please go to lessons now? I'm going to be late..." He started the truck.

"Why do you do it?" I look at him confused.

"Why do you do 'that'" he nodded towards my arm as we pulled out of the driveway.

"Kody, I-" he cut me off.

"No kaylin. I want to know now. Don't tell me that you don't want to talk about it. I know that that's all you have ever wanted to do. To talk about it. Why won't you tell me?! Do you think I'm gong to turn into dad or something ?!"

I was now crying but he my brother was right. All I have ever wanted to do was talk about it to someone that would just listen and not judge me, but help me. I need help but I don't think Kody is able to give me the help I need.

"Kody. I would never think that. I just- I need help but I don't think you are capable of giving me the help that I need..."

He stopped the truck and for the first time I looked up at him. He had tears coming down his face and I couldn't bare to see him like this.

"Kody, please don't cry over me! I'm fine! I'll get help. I promise!..."

I pulled him into a hug and he nodded.

"I know but I don't want you to hurt yourself anymore. It's killing me that I can't protect you. Not even from dad..." He whispered the last part to himself but I herd.

"It's fine Kody. I'm fine. Now, we need to get to lessons or we are going to be late. Ill see you at home? I'm going to walk today."

He looked up at me and smiled. I used to walk home all the time before I started getting bullied and dad starting hurting me so to tell him this made him happy again.

"Alright kay. Ill see you at home."

We hugged again and went our separate ways.

I saw people whispering to each other and staring at me. Only then, i ran into someone. A girl.

"Oh! I'm so sorry! I should have been looking where I was going! My first day here and I'm already running people over! Are you alright?"

I nodded. She didn't yell at me or push me to the ground and beat me. She was different. I could tell.

"Hi. I'm Baylee but you can call me Bay. What's your name?!" She smiled at me.

"K-kaylin. But you can c-call me... kay, I guess..." She giggled and clapped her hands while jumping up and down.

"My first day and I allready have a new friend!!! YAYY!!" I couldn't help but laugh

"So, what is your first class kay?"

She linked her arm with mine.

She has long, dark brown hair and beautiful light brown eyes. I could tell by the ends of her hair that she straightens it but she still is beautiful.

"I have science first. You?"

She looked at her schedule and frowned.

"History. I am going to be the new student that everyone is going to be staring at. Ugh!" I giggle and she shoves my shoulder.

"Well, I herd that there are some pretty hot guys in Mr.Bailers first class..." I winked at her and she squealed.

"EEEEEE!!! I might FINALLY get a boyfriend!! Well... I've got to go but meet me at the caff. doors ok?!" I laugh and nod my head.

"Sure. Bye Bay."

"Bye Kay! Hey! That rymes!! Haha. Well bye!" I laugh again and head to class.

On my way in, I found myself on the floor.

"Oh! I'm so sorry! Did I trip you!?" I look up to see Jesse standing over me giving his friends hi fives.

Great way to start off the day right?...
