Pool of Blood

I got down from the car and was curious to see what had happened. I saw a pool of blood. Im the kinda person that would run 100 ft away when I see that much blood but at that moment, at that instant I wanted to go nearer; I dont know why but I wanted to see who it was. Something told me that I should help the person injured. I pushed through the crowd that was surrounding the person that got hurt.

I saw a motorbike. I walked a little nearer to the pool of blood and I saw a young man. He was very skinny and he lost a lot of blood. I put my hand into my bag searching for my phone but I couldnt find it. If i had left that guy there or wait for the ambulance to arrive, we would lost him.

I ran to the taxi I was in and I asked the driver if he would help and thank Goodness he did. The guy that was hurt; I didnt get to see his face. We just carried him ;his back was facing up; And we put him into the backseat of the taxi. There was no space at the front seat so I had to sit at the back with him. I adjusted his head and put it on my lap.

Thats when I saw his face! IT WAS HIM! IT WAS NOAH! I PANICKED! TEARS WERE ROLLING DOWN MY CHEEKS! I DIDNT KNOW HOW TO REACT! SO MANY THINGS GOING ON IN MY HEAD! I had chills all over my body when I saw him. I mean, its been 2 years and I honestly have forgotten about him. I moved on! Why again?!?!

Sunny and Karren were in a college near the hospital we went to so I called both of them. They rushed to the hospital. The moment I saw the both of them...

Me:*runs to Karren and hugs her* Karren, I dont wanna be here. I shouldnt be here. Sunny promise me that youll take good care of him. Inform his parents. Please?
Sunny: Why? Where are you going?
Me: I dont wanna be here when he wakes up. It wont be right.
Sunny: Youre staying here. He better know that you are the one that saved his life. All that ego shall go down the drain.
Karren: Sunny is right. You better stay.
Me: hmmmm....ok.

After about 4 to 5 hours, he woke up.
I freaked out not knowing what to do.
I was alone in the room at that moment. I didnt want him to see me yet so I hid behind the curtain. What I didnt realise was that the curtain only goes down till my knees....so, he saw me legs...

Noah: Who's there? What happened? What are doing behind the curtain?

*Sunny and Karren hear Noah's voice and run into the room*

Sunny: YOURE AWAKE! THANK GOD!
Noah: Sunny? What are doing h....WAIT! Who is behind that curtain?!?!

*Leya steps out*
*Noah is in shock*

Noah: Le...Ley.....*stutters*.....LEYA?
Me: *not knowing what to do* Karren?
Karren: Noah?
Sunny: SUNNY!!!

*Noah, Leya and Karren all turn to Sunny and stare at him*

Sunny: What? No one said my name so....
Karren: Shut up Sunny!

*Noah and Leya look at each other*
*awkward silence*

Me: I think I better leave.
Noah: *keeps quiet*........*after a few seconds* Leya! Wait!
*Leya's whole body froze listening to Noah's voice*
Sunny: She saved you life Noah. She brought you to the hospital. What happened? How did you get hurt??
Noah: I only remember crossing the road. Everything that happened after that is a blur. Leya?
*Leya lifts her head up and looks at Noah right into his eyes*
Noah: Leya. Thank you. *awkward silence again*
Leya: *smiles* You know, honestly, I didnt know it was you on the road earlier this morning Noah.
Noah: So if you knew it was me, you wouldnt have helped?
Leya: I never said that. I just want you to know that fate plays a big role in our lives.
Noah: Hah! *laughs sarcastically*
Leya: Yea ok! Im leaving Karren. BYE!
*Leya walks out of the room*
Karren: Leya..Leya! Wait! Hes just being mean thats it. Please dont leave yet.
Sunny: Whats wrong with you Noah? She saved your life you idiot!
Noah: *sigh* I dont know how to look at her and talk to her without feeling guilty and horrible. I never knew ill have to see her again Sunny. I cant look at those eyes. Its killing me. What I did to her was terrible.
Sunny: Talk it out buddy. Talk to her about it. Sort things out once and for all.

*Noah nods*
*Karren walks back into the room*

Karren: She left.
Sunny: What!?! You didnt stop her?
Karren: I tried but why should she wait. Who is he to her? After everything, you expect her to be the same? DREAM ON!

*Noah looks upset*

Sunny: Anyway, Noah you havent eaten. Ill go get you something. Karren? Do you want anything?
Karren: Nope. *whipers to Sunny* The only reason Im here is because youre my transport back home! So you better make it quick. I cant see Noah's face...Im afraid I might kill him or something.
Sunny: Ok ok! Just wait for a minute okay? Let him settle down and we can leave.
Karren: Hmmm....

Sunny went to buy some biscuits and snacks for Noah and Karren. Well I only said I was leaving but I didnt have the heart to leave Noah just like that. I was kinda hiding in one of the convenient stores. Sunny walked in and saw me hiding...

Sunny: Hahahahaha! I KNEW IT! I KNEW YOU WOULDNT LEAVE! You still love him dont you?
Me: Well he obviously does no want to have anything to do with me.

We walked back to the room to see Noah sleeping. Karren was shocked to see me....

Karren: What are you doing here?
Me: Uhhhhh....just chilling...you know
Karren: Right. I totally believe you.
Me: Sshhhhh.... Hes asleep. Dont wake him up.

I walked towards the bed he was in. I just watched him for about 3 minutes. Everybody was silent. I know he doesnt have feelings for me anymore. I know he hates me but I saw something that he had with him. I was shocked. It was....
