I walk, and the moon follows.
The stars watch my ev'ry move.
Silent, silent and serene,
They look, and sink, and close their
Luminous bright shining eyes;
Opening again when the sun flees its seat.
A/N: Thank you to my friend who inspired the title of the poem - couldn't have named it without you ;) You know who you are!
Unfortunately, this isn't Christmas-themed. I probably should have written one, but I completely forgot, as I've been extremely busy this past month. You know, the usual: Christmas, books (Lunar Chronicles' and Obernewtyn Chronicles' last books of the series just came out PWKODFKCM NURYGUMKFOOIIIiIIIIIIIIII), CHRISTMAS, work, blah, blah, blah...
I'm just making excuses. I procrastinate.
I'm terrible at this.
To DanielleAlexa and The_Quill_Writer especially, my sincerest apologies for keeping you waiting...but Danii's already read this poem, so whatever to you =P
It seems that over the past couple of years, I'm steadily becoming more and more of a Romantic. The next few poems also have to do with nature, but I'm worried you might not figure out their exact theme. Sorry. Have no fear, though, I won't become a full-fledged pantheist!
Don't forget, reviews make better writers!
Over and out,
Starry Roses
