Off to see the Wizard

[Emma's POV]

Love is weakness... the darkness hissed in Emma's head. He fights on the side of light and he cannot be allowed to have a hold on us. But Emma was getting over the initial shock of being overtaken by the darkness' intention and she was fighting back with all her might to try to save the people she cared about.

"Killian, stay away from me, I - I can't stop myself all the time...but I'm still here so please don't give up trying to get the darkness out of me now get out of here, both of you" Emma said gritting her teeth.

"I'm not leaving without you Emma,' Killian said, walking up to his true love, " underneath all that gorgeous leather is still the Emma swan I know" he smiled. And I believe I've found a way to get your old self back"

"Sorry to ruin your lovers moment," Regina interrupted, "but should you really be giving the dark one the key to finding Merlin? For all we know she could end up going after him and killing him herself.  Swan if you want us to give you the key to finding Merlin, prove to us you are still strong enough to fight the darkness"

Emma stared at Regina for a moment, then reluctantly passed the dagger back to Regina, all the while fighting the urge to disappear and deal with the problem herself. "So how are we supposed to find Merlin?"

"Well," Hook answered, "it just so happens that along my many travels, I came by this old legend that told of a magic chalice that would give any wondrous powers such as immortality and magic to those who drank its waters.  I was looking for it so that I could have a fair fight with the crocodile and finally get my revenge. Unfortunately, as I learned more about the chalice through this book, I discovered that it had already been taken by a man named Merlin who was the most powerful wizard of all. But again, there was another problem because Merlin had been missing for the last century along with the Chalice. This book tells us that he was last seen in Camelot."

Well, easy enough dark one, just cast a curse to bring everyone to Camelot and you can get rid of me faster the darkness laughed plus you get to use more of that sweet dark magic. How fun is this?  Emma shook her head and mumbled "no, stop it..."

Regina noticed Emma was frowning and mumbling to herself, "Emma, are you alright?" she asked with concern. "Yeah I'm fine, its nothing" Emma replied curtly. 

"Alright...but do you want to put this on just in case?" Regina asked producing the same leather cuff that was used on Rumplestiltskin. Emma nodded and reluctantly allowed regina to place the cuff on her wrist. Then Regina teleported them to the library where everyone was still busy pouring over the books. At first everyone was wary but after explaining what happened in the forest, everyone was relieved and happy to see Emma alright and - mostly- herself.

The gang finally managed to find a spell to take them to Camelot and it required two things: one, the apprentice's wand charged with dragon fire and two, something that originated from Camelot. It was decided that Regina would go get the wand and ask Maleficent to charge it and the Charmings and Gold were to go find an object from Camelot in Gold's shop while Hook, Belle and Henry stayed with Emma.

"Guy's I don't need to be baby-sitted by so many people. Besides, if you take the cuff off I'm sure I could use my magic to get the items we need without all of this trouble. Easy and fast." Emma said with sincerity in her eyes. However, Gold knew better, "Miss Swan, it is not a good idea to keep using dark magic. It acts like a drug, consuming you until there is nothing of the light left."
