The Nobody Soldier(kingdom Hearts Series) Book One: Beginnings

Prologue: the end

I flew in my keyblade rider chasing him with my blade at the ready. I dodged the heartless chasing behind me making left and right turns everywhere. 'It's closing' I thought to myself. Sure enough, just ahead of me it was going to close before even getting close. The portal was so close on fading away before I reached it, but I jumped off my ride, just slightly  making it inside.

It took a moment to recover my strength. I had been fighting through thick and thin, and could barely hold myself up at this point. I knew I need to go on. I started to take in the place I had warped to. The area I now stood in had the brightest light behind me and the deepest darkness you could ever see. Some would describe it as heaven and hell, but it looked so fragile,  one touch would collapse the space. Looking around I saw the people I came after and summoned my keyblade ride to get over to them.
One was fighting with an exceptional keyblade, but one fought with the utmost darkness you could ever imagine. The keyblader shot 20 or so white fireballs at the dark wielder. The dark one blocked some, but still took a few hits. I could tell at this point only a few more hits and either preson would go down.

The man of black said "you and your pesky partner will not be able to take me thos time!!!"

To this the keyblader turned his head, surprised to see me.
The keyblader yelled "What are you doing!?! Get out of here!!!"
I tried to respind "but I swear I ca-" an eerie glow started to come from the pit of darkness.

"You shouldn't give your enemy an opening," spoke the black cloaked man.  A purple and black ball seeping nothing but darkness came out of the black hole, and grew bigger and bigger as it came closer.

"Heartless!!!" The man shouted "recreat their wills into one of your own!!!!" He then sent the negative energy at us and I watched in horror as it barreled toward us.

At this I stood still, shuddering from the fear of whatever would happen if the man threw that at us touched us. I couldn't think of anything until I felt something push me away. I saw my friend smile and the last thing I heard was, "live" he took the whole blast, but the shockwave threw me hurtling toward the space in between both openings, I then saw a white place open itself and shoot me through the room flying fast into the door on the other side. The last thing I remember was flying back the other direction towards the ground bfore feeling something crack my skull and the next thing I knew, I saw darkness.

...

I didn't thimk of anything until I remembered my friend '...0..no....'

'...I...can't die...here...'

'...I won't let myself die here......I won't let myself die here!..... I WON'T LET THINGS END HERE!!!' I felt myself start to push back out of the darkness. And my last thought before everything faded was of the last moment when my friend took that hit.

...and then it all faded...
