I finally got home, lugging my shopping bags. I smiled happily and looked at everything I had bought. I dumped out every bag on my apartments' plush carpeting, making a mess, but not caring. So many clothes.! I thought, running my hand down a pair of leather pants. I had bought things from shoes to jewelry to undergarments. I dont miss him. I dont miss him.! I sat in a chair with my elbows on my knees and my hands to my face. I sniffled as a tear rolled down my cheek.
"I dont miss him.."
I sat in that postion for a while, just thinking. Thinking about what i did wrong, why he left me so suddenly. Then, I pushed through my grief and decided to let it go, to move on. I smiled with newfound confidence. Leaving my new purchases on the floor, I got up, and went for a drive.
I arrived at my favorite ice cream shop, Sweet Spot. I had loved it as a child, and continued to. I ordered my usual. Although I only came here when something big happened or I just needed to calm down, I still had a usual.
"Well hello."
A man I had never seen before greeted me, holding his hand out to shake mine.
"Have we met.?" I asked, trying to be as polite as possible.
"No, I dont believe so." He chuckled.
"But I would like to get to know you." He raised an eyebrow and smirked.
"So whats your name, handsome.?" I flirted.
"Zayn." He smirked again. "And yours.?"
"Kat." I nodded.
Why am I letting this happen. When a man actually shows interest in me, it never ends well! I have a list of exs to prove that. Needless to say, I had horrible luck with relationships.
"What a beautiful name." complimented. What a sweetie.
"Thank you." I blushed. His hair was black or dark brown, I couldnt tell. He had a silver tounge and stubble on his chin and cheekbones. Not really my type, but his brown eyes.. to die for.
"How about your number.?" He winked. I wrote it down on a napkin.
"Thank you gorgeous!" He smiled and swooped down to kiss my cheek. "I'll be seeing you soon." With a smirk, he walked out of Sweet Spot.
I sat in the same chair I sat in before, thinking. Except, this time, I was thinking about Zayn instead of Thomas. Zayn was gorgeous, but 'cocky bad boy' was definitely not my style. I loved his eyes, though. After a little while I began to get a throbbing headache. I put my fingers to my temples and tried to relax.
I felt my hip vibrate. I reached into my pocket and fished out my phone.
"Hello.?" I asked, wary of the unknown number.
"Hi, its Zayn. From Sweet Spot.?" I could hear the confident smirk in his voice.
"Oh. Hi.!" I was suprised to hear him on the other line. I hadnt expected him to call.
"What are you doing Saturday.? I was hoping I could take you out for dinner, sweetheart." He requested.
"Oh.! Nothing.! No, I'm not doing anything." I stuttered.
"Great.! Where do you live.? I'll pick you up at eight."
"Where are we going.?"
"Its a suprise, honey."
"Well. See you then, Zayn."
"Bye."
I hung up. Wow, what a charmer. A cocky, very self-assured charmer, but a charmer. Would this work out.? I wondered. He was a risk. He drove a motorcycle.! Was he a risk i could afford to take.?
.............
hahaha yay i got my goal(: bring it up this time.? 3 votes for update.!
