Adopted by the Akatsuki

How it began

"And why the hell are we doing this again?" Hidan asked Irritated. "We have lost a lot of power and followers recently. If we can adopt and raise a random kid to be charming and persuasive while follow our ways at the same time, then we will gain more of what we lost." Pein said.

All of the Akatsuki were going to a nearby orphanage to adopt a kid for their plans. They were just going to use them to gain more power and followers so they can provide with their plan to bring back the 10 tails.

"I don't care as long as their not a screaming, obnoxious brat." Sasori said. "Don't worry, it won't be." Konan responded.

The group continued the walk in complete silence until they arrived. The (stereotypical plump, and sweet[not Annie kind]) orphanage owner came out to greet them. "Welcome, welcome." She said "you must be Konan (acknowledging Konan), and which of you fine gentleman is Nagato?" "I am." He said. "Very well then, come on in." "I'm going under my real name in case you were wondering. I doubt they would let a man named pein adopt." He said back to the others.

"Do you have any kids in particular you would like." The woman asked. "Umm... We're not quite sure." Konan said. "Well, wait a sec. Oh kids, come line up in order." She yell out. All the kids, aged 5-17, came down almost instantly. "leave a space for anyone missing."

As the Akatsuki looked down the line, they noticed only a single person missing. "Where has that girl gone off to this time?" The woman said under her breath. "What girl?" Sasori asked. "Oh, she's the trouble maker around here, but despite her mischievous, she's a smart, charming girl." " Does anyone know where she is?" The woman asked the kids. "She probably snuck out to go shooting again. You know how she is, can't go a day without using her bow." A random 17 year old boy said.

"Can we wait to meet this girl; also, what's her name?." Konan asked. " Of course, it would be good for her to find a stable family. And her name is Hazen."

Haven's P.O.V

"Bullseye!" I yelled as I hit my target, a flying can. I look up at the sky and realize it's been a good 4 hours since I came out here. 'I should probably head back.' I thought to myself. I walked back to my bow's "hiding spot" (it's similar to Katniss's in the 1st movie) and walked back to the orphanage. The second I walked in I was called by Ms. Smith, the orphanage owner, to her office.

"Yes Ms. Smith?" I asked."I have some people who might want to adopt you." 'Why adopt me of all people?' I walk in to a room of 10 people, 1 woman and 9 men, as they looked through my profile. "15 years old. Dad died in combat when she was 3 and her mom died a year later of sickness. No other family. Was brought her 11 years ago from a hospital. Clever, witty..." A man with orange hair read aloud while the others were reading along. "Umm... Hello." "Oh hey kid. You must be Hazen." A blue skinned man with shark teeth said. "Yes, yes I am. I didn't expect anyone would want to meet me. Did I do something wrong?" I asked. "No, you're fine. We were going to see about adopting you." The woman said. All I could do was laugh at that remark. They looked at me with confusion.

"Your joking right? Most people would just go for the little kids and not even bat an eye at me. I've been here longer than anyone else cause nobody cared for me, so you must be joking." I said. They responded with looks of slight pity. "Ey, don't look at me like that. I'm used to those feelings." "Oh, sorry. We didn't mean to upset you. But you seemed like a great person, we had to jump on the opportunity. So we would love to adopt you. If you're ok with that." The woman said.

I got up and walked towards the door. When I got there, I turned around and said with my best blank face "I don't care, do what you like." Even though I was throwing a party in my head. 'Fuck yeah!' I thought. I walked out the door and headed towards my room to pack up my stuff."

Akatsuki P.O.V

"I don't know about you guys but she didn't fool me with that." Kakuzu said. "I like that kid. Could we adopt her?" Sasori asked. "I wasn't thinking of anyone else to adopt." Pein said.

The Akatsuki adopted the Hazen and headed to their main base, a large underground sort of mansion. And that is where the main story begins
