Maddara watched kushina with cold eyes , trying guess how she would react to her best friends death. "The uchiha massacre wasn't by any chance 'just a test of power' , it was orders by konoha specifically danzo the war hawk." He said. "Itachi was strong .. Yes in deed had good uchiha blood in him , but he couldn't take down an entire ninja clan by himself let alone the great uchiha " he said with pride" he had accomplices ,one being danzo attacking the stronger uchiha stealing there eyes , the others I don't know you may have to get that information on your own ."
"Thank you.. Lord maddara " she said
"I can tell you this itachi didn't kill his mother , he honestly doesn't know what happened to her you'll have to help him find out to get him on our side." He finished and vanished.
Kushina turned and faced konoha and jumped off the hokage mountain.

Kushina walked in his office and sat down across the table from the old war hawk . she looked at him from her mask " I want to join root" was all she said and he smirked.
"Come" was his lone word.
Xxxxxxx1 MONTH LATER Xxxxxxx
Kushina had been doing non stop missions for danzo to earn his trust she had just returned from kiri assassinating a general in the rebel army. Danzo had just called her into his more private office to discuss her next mission.
"Kushina your next mission is big , I've had some of my scouts trying to locate a genchuriki and the one they found was the rokubi the six tailed slug. He was seen in river country living in an cottage by a river." He said . " I need you to defeat and bring the genchuriki to one of my more private hideouts in lightning country. "
"I see yes sir " she vanished going towards her mission .
Xxxxxx ONE WEEK LATER Xxxxx
River country .
Kushina used her minor sensory abilities to sense three big chakra signatures engaging each other two on one the genchuriki was battling against the notorious kisame hoshigaki and itachi uchiha .
Kushina decided to wait out the battle patently and attack the victor , she would enjoy this battle her sharing an eye began to spin rapidly in anticipation of the battle .
"Come here you runt " kisame barked out and swung his samhada in an attempt to behead the boy. The boy ducked and kicked kisame in the chest sending him skidding a couple of feet away. He turned his head to the right feeling the heat of the gigantic fire ball coming his way "fire style: grand fire ball jutsu " itachi called out. The boy jumped out of the way as the fire ball impacted the ground and exploded , making a huge gust if wind . itachi's akatsuki cloack bellowed in the wind while kushina sheilded her face from the wind.
The boy charged itachi and engaged in a taijustu battle , he smirked " you guys are good " he said and flipped over itachis right arm and kicked him away "but not good enough " he said when itachi fell , but that itachi burst into crows and attacked the boy. "Water style: water bullet " a burst of water shot from kisames mouth and hit square in the boys stomach sending him flying .Once he feel kisame stood over him with samhada pointed at him . "give up , you've lost brat !" Kisame said triumphantly. The boys eyes grew glowing red and red chakra grew shape like a tail and seated kisame away.
Kisame was getting very tired of fight and went to end it . "water style : grand waterfall jutsu !" The ground started rumbling and creeking and a great water fall emerged , with kisame on top . " you damn genchuriki your going down ,water style: grand water shark bomb jutsu " a gigantic shark flew straight at the boy who went biju mode at the right time and started gathering chakra.
Itachi still on the ground with his sharingan active spotted the condensed chakra gathering and ran to kisame.
When he arrived he barked "kisame ! Behind me now " kisame did exactly as he was told. Itachis eyes spun rapidly changing shape into the mangekyo sharingan . "Sussano! " a red skeletal specter , with glowing yellow eyes appeared and shielded them from the blast .
When the smoke died down you could see itachi on one knee holding his right eye . kisame knew when itachi went down it was time to retreat he cast a jutsu " water style : grand fisher jutsu" a giant torent of water smashed into the biju and he picked itachi up , before they left itachi looked dead at her position , he knew that chakra . "kushina.." He whispers before leaving with kisame .
Sensing his enemies departure , he turned back human and collapsed . he saw a red headed women with a spiral mask approach him and punched him in the face , effectively knocking him out she slung him over her shoulder and headed north to lightening country, getting the feeling she would meet itachi soon and she smiled.

"So kisame , you and itachi fails to bring the rokubi back " a figure asked.
"Yes" itachi admitted
"Do not fail me again" he said. Itachi vanished , the figures eyes narrowed. "Zetsu watch him " he spoke .
Itachi had his mind set he would find kushina and confront her , even if he had to betray the akatsuki
Kushina on her way to lightning country and will be orderd to do something she thoght she would never have to do again.
