I was walking down the street, hiding in the shadows to avoid attention. Suddenly I noticed a shop that was intact. I walked onto the deserted car park in front of the shop and I thought I heard something. I drew my Wilson 9mm and stood ready.
After a moment of silence I put the gun back into it's holster and started walking towards the shop again. When I stood in front of the doors I noticed chain that was locked with a padlock around the handle on the inside. I hesitated for a minute but then I took the gun out and used it to smash the large window on the side. Then I heard the noise again. I thought it sounded like an attempt of a scream but I wasn't sure.
I clicked the safety off and walked around the corner where I thought the scream came from. I peeked around with my gun in both hands aimed to the ground. I was terrified by what I saw.She tried to call out for help but all that came out was a whisper.
She felt the zombie's nails' and teeth digging into her neck. She couldn't move.
She tried to call for help but all that came out was a whisper. The girl lying on the ground had here whole right side bit open by the zombie that now had started on her neck.
I walked back towards the broken window letting the zombie finish it's meal. Doing that would allow me to get in, grab what I needed and get out before getting noticed.
When I stood there in front of the window hearing the girls "shouting" I holstered my gun, grabbed my knife and ran back towards the girl. I sprinted around the corner, right towards the zombie, bent down, grabbed the zombie's hair and stabbed it in it's spinal core.
I watched the girl stretching her arm towards me for help, she pointed at my gun.
"Please," she said "kill me..."
I dropped the knife, took my gun and put it in her hand. Her hand shook by the weight of it. I helped her to put the pistol against her head. "Thank you," she said.
She pulled the trigger. Blood splattered from the exit hole on the other side of her head.
I took the gun out of her hand, took the knife from the ground and walked the other way.
