"Go get me, Frank, Tiana,Hannah, and Timothy coffee, now!"
Mrs.Annabell was one of those people you could not stand being near for more than a few minutes. All she would like you to do is wait on her hand and foot. Dont let her get to you i kept thinking to myself, but at the same time i was thinking why keep saying that when it never really works? I may only be fifteen, but i still have a lot on my plate, i thought.
As i walked into the coffee shop on Ming avenue, i was so lost in thought i didnt realize there was a door right in front of me, so i did what you always see in the movies..ran right into it. The worst part of it was that the door was see-through so i could see every ones reaction and everyone saw mine. I waited outside for a few inutes then finally walked in slowly. People still started, but no one said anything. As i walked up to the counter the cashier had the biggest smile on his face. The boys name was Aaron. He is my age and he goes to my school, his father owned the place so i figured that's why he worked here. I have had a crush on him since the fourth grade, so i don't mind Mrs.Annabell sending me on coffee trips.
"What can i get for you, Becca?" My real name is Rebecca, but i prefer Becca, its short and simple.
"Can i get five hot coffees to go please?"
"Yes you may..It comes out to $12.39"
Shoot Mrs.Annabell only gave me a $10! I knew i should have asked her for more, I scowled to myself.
"Um..could I make that four then please?" I said.
"Sure..it comes out to $9.73"
"Thank you" I said as i walked of with all of them. I was scared to drop the coffees, but i was more scared of what Mrs.Annabell is going to say about the deducted coffee.
I walked into the designer studio cautiously and slowly, scared of whats going to happen next. I walk, even slower, into Mrs.Annabell's office.
"There you are! What took you so long? Traffic?" She said with a laugh.
Mrs.Annabell was the type of person that no matter how nice you are to her, if you are not her don't expect to be treated with care.
"Where is the last coffee, Bertha!" She screamed, and once again forgetting my name. I always got more frightend of her when she yelled at me, or any other person for that matter.
"You didnt give me enough money Mrs.Annabell"
"What, do you think i am made of money! GOSH! What does a person have to do around here to get a suitable person to at least be able to go pick up five simple cups of coffee!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.
"Mrs.Annabe-" I said as i tried to explain but she cut me off.
"Just go!'' She yelled.
