She's Back.. After six years? #10

Alfie's POV

"Carrissa, is that you?" I managed to choke out. "Yes" "The girl I never thought I'd see again. She's here. She was crying. "Carrissa, come over here." "This is Zoe" I pointed to my right. "Hi, Carrissa." "Zoe" They shook hands. "Carrissa, come here and give me a hug" She let go of her suit case and placed her phone down on the seat. She walked towards me and embraced me with a big hug. She Sniffled and I could tell she was still crying.

"Alfie, please read this." She gave a letter. It looked quite old, so I opened it up and started reading. I recognised the writing. Hayley's.

Dear Alfie,

Yes I know, this may be odd but I woke up from my coma. One, to write this and to tell Carrissa something very important. Ask her once you finish reading this. Alfie, please move on, yes I love you and always will, but I would be so much happier if you moved on to find the most perfect girl for you. Even if her name was Erica or Emriah as you know I hate those names. Haha. Alfie this might be sudden but, if you find that girl, have a family with her, please, name your girl child after me. It will remind you that I'm always here watching you in spirit.

I didn't know I was crying until I saw a drop smudge on the paper.
"Alfie? What does it say? I wasn't allowed to read it?" Carrissa asked. I didn't say anything just passed the note to her. Her face dropped and she shed another tear.
"Alfie...I'm so so sorry I didn't tell you when I first found out.... She blabbed on and I sat in my hospital bed and stared into space. "Carrissa, just tell me what she said. And what happened. " So she told the story every detail then she stopped. "The last words she spoke after giving me the letter were and she quoted"Carrissa, turn off my life support, tell Alfie I died and I will always love him, I'm doing this because I love the both of you. Bye RissRiss." Then she told me she fell back asleep and she did as she said and turned off her life support. I still can't believe Carrissa kept this to herself for six-nearly seven years.

I just sat there feeling helpless while Carrissa  said hi to my parents and gave me continues hugs over and over again. Zoe stood there with a confused expression on her face. I gave her a very weak smile. She just shrugged her shoulders as if to say "tell  me what happened" I just mouthed 'I'll tell you in a minute'. I finally spoke the first words from over an hour. "Carrissa, can you help me tell Zoe about Hayley? She deserves to know." "Mkay" Zoe slowly walked over and I said to her "ask questions one at a time." She nodded.

"Okay, who is Hayley?" Zoe said unknowingly. I nodded to Carrissa saying she could answer the question as she's known Hayley for longer. "Zoe, Hayley was.. I mean is my  best friend since 2014 so 14 and a half years. She was Alfie's ex from six years ago."
"Okay, why six years ago?" Zo asked. I gave Carrissa a look telling her to explain everything to Zoe. From start to now. "Okay Zoe, I'm going to tell about everything from the start till now as it will be so much easier to explain." Zoe Nodded.

A/N Omg Yessss I reached a massive total of 701 Words this chapter!! I'm extremely proud of myself and as I was writing this I was thinking, about what everyone would do if I actually die. Then I started crying out of nowhere and had to stop wring for ten-fifteen minutes to calm down. HAHAHAHAHAHA. Lol me. So I was actually watching Frozen on tv while typing this chapter so :) lol.
