Paris Davner is 12 and is on her way to 7th grade. During the summer she stays at her bestfriend{ Elizabeth }'s house.
Amber Davner is 10 going to 5th grade. She is in camp all summer.
Her mother is Stephanie Stout. She's divorced {She used to be Stephanie Davner}, never home, has only half custody of her kids, and is an alcoholic that works at Tassels { A local strip club}. And if you think/ that's bad..Her father is worse.
Her father is Ryan Davner. He abuses Dani. Verbally& physically. He rapes her when he is high or drunk or when he feels like it. And no one knows except her bestfriend Giavanna. And she is mostly at her mother's house. But that's not even the beginning of this book. This is just the background, or as my friend says " I haven't even baked the cake yet. "
